Donna Karan is the latest designer to expand into a full range of handbags. There was preview of one of the bags - the Leo - in the latest Vogue. It seems all the bags will be named after an astrological sign which is a bit hokey but very fitting somehow.

I think it looks nice in the croc but I can't think of a single bag that doesn't look instantly appealing in croc. I'll be interested in seeing the leather version.

Has anyone seen these bags in real life? I saw magazine pics of the Libra bag which has an equestrian feel that I love. I wonder how it looks in real life though - often the bags look much better in pics but worse in reality or vice versa! Also, they have quite hefty price tags too, no? Around €3000 for the Libra?

I'm a Leo & I can definitely live without this bag ...

I think the Cancer should be huge, for the person who hangs onto everything

Convertible straps might be appropriate for the Gemini ... or maybe two bags that could be decoupled? Like an evening clutch that could be docked/undocked from the day bag ...

I saw this on the Donna Karan website....I find myself really liking this one.
It's unusual and I love the exposed zippers and barnacle/pom pom things on it.
It strange and ugly and cool and outstanding all the the same time, but in a good way. (at least to me)

It's called the Evening Star Loop Pouch and it's suede.

The plain leather version retails for USD995. Anyone knows how much this embellished version will cost?

The Libra is the only bag that makes sense to me ... the hardware is reminiscent of the Libra scales.
