It makes me sad to not see Charlotte in this.
Nobody is perfect...I thought it was great to see Julien and Natacha (even though I can't stand her designs) in there because it shows a sense of community as opposed to being pit against one another. I don't want to say it shows what a nice guy he is because he played dirty when Wang was at Balenciaga with snarky messages.
And yes, Charlotte's absence is sad because it more than anything underscored that beyond MAS, Delphine and his designer clique, everybody else from Lea to Alicia to Jaden is there because of a cheque. And just because she's got the common sense not to uglify herself with his LV wares, she's not included regardless of their association (not sure if something else happened?). Anyway, if he'd be replaced tomorrow at LV those celebrities won't leave with him. This is business above all else.
I will always remember that quote from Monica Belucci: « It’s better to do a good campaign than a bad movie ».
Yes she did. I don’t remember if it was for Paris Premiere or Canal Plus but it was a documentary about the relationship between celebrities and brands and the whole business around Redcarpet.Monica said that? Lol. Say what you will about her, and I've got loads to say, but that possibly the aptest soundbite she ever gave to encapsulate her career.

And yes what you said about her career is totally right and at the same time, it represents so many careers of actresses...They are So many like that in France!
Anna Mouglalis is the perfect example IMO. I’ve always felt like Karl’s love for her was like philanthropy! She has a very confidential and elitist career and she has been a lazy ambassador for Chanel since 2002.
And now, so many actresses and actors are plotting for the endorsement!
It was a very good documentary. I would love to see a newer version today because it’s getting out of control now...And LV’s line up of celebrities represents that.
