Emanuel Ungaro F/W 06.07 Paris

I like some pieces but things like that racoon coat! OMG That coat is scary as hell! :ninja: Who would wear that! :yuk:

 wow.

This stuff hits you like a smack in the face.....definitly not the sensation I want from a fashion show.

Ungaro has really done a nosedive since Valli's first few collections, after that he went all Holllywood glitz and cleavege, then Darre came in with that garish fall collection and the even worse Dynasty looking spring collection. Now this stuff?

That raccoon tail coat, what was he thinking!?!?!

I'm guessing either Jessica Simpson or Jenifer Lopez:lol:

The scary thing is though..it could happen:cry: :ninja:

Easily one of the ugliest collections this season.
Looks like scrap designs stolen from the rubbish bin at Cavalli.
HIDEOUS.

wow, i was just thinking this is one of the standout shows of the season, and it blew me away "with glee" to find that they have a new designer!!!

i also love roisin murphy, she is one of my favourite most underrated artists!!!

This collections is so bad I shouldn't even waste my time criticising it. Im going back to the Celine topic to cleanse my pallette.

Hm, I don't know how I feel about the collection overall. The entire thing is up at Style.com right now -- judge for yourself, I guess? I like more than half of it, personally (But the fur...meh), though the juxtaposition of fabrics and patterns makes me very dizzy X_x

I liked the dresses. The shoes were ugly but I like how the dresses were made. I don't understand If someone says one thing bad everyone follows suit. What up with that?

its really not that bad, i actually like most of it. but then again, i ALWAYS love ungaro, not matter what season or designer......

Actually, sans the fur and the feathers, this is not such a bad collection. There are some really good looks even.

its emanuel ungaro,so it deseves something more powerful.
but hey!i its really not bad as far as the debut collection of a Norwegian designer is concerned. i'm totally in love with julia's outfit in #52 :flower:

from iht... I cant agree it anymore:

".... But with so much draping creating a taut, short silhouette, Dundas seemed to have started where Ungaro himself stepped down in ready-to-wear - and that was six years ago. Fashion moves so fast and there was no sign here of the modest grace that is the leading look of the season. But as the choice of the house's new owner, Dundas should be given a grace period to establish his own look to take the Ungaro label forward."

OK, those black coats are pretty good and there are some individual items.
The collection truly lacks any cohesion and most of it is just plain trampy (in a bad way). Needs to distance himself from all that Cavalli cack.
