Emilio Pucci F/W 2023.24 Milan

There are some good separates that get drowned in weird complicated styling and the photography is not helping selling this collection. It's all too much.

Camille needs a good stylist that helps her to streamline her vision.

I can enjoy it because I understand the project behind Camille Miceli at Pucci.
It’s item focused, it’s seasons focused and in that sense, it works.
At Pucci more than anybrand, nobody goes for a look and it’s either beachwear or skiwear. And it’s illustrated here in the most confused but fun way.

There are some beautiful pieces and fun accessories.

Yea its a collection of wearable very Pucci items. I love it. This is Puccis market - the only designer who understood that was LaCroix.

Dundas Pucci reminds me a lot of Cavalli spring 2005 which he designed

Peter Dundas and Pucci was match made in heaven. Can they just emulate it?!
Since Dundas left, this is actually the most buzz they had in years.
Pucci is not a priority anymore in that way. It’s selling, it has press, it’s more lifestyle oriented and it kind of works.

‘I was told at the time that it was actually quite difficult in terms of decision making to deal with Laudomia Pucci…As she still owned part of the brand.

Now, LVMH owns 100% of the brand and having Miceli is like having a soft relaunch of the brand. And to be honest, what she is doing is making totally sense even if it’s not as strong from a fashion perspective.

But LVMH has other brands that needs special attention right now anyway…

LVMH wants revenue for sure!

Every brand wants revenue but it’s not the same type of investments.
It’s a small relaunch so they are doing drops, small events, are relying on their network of stores and wholesales but it ain’t about a heavy marketing, an It bag or things like that. Dundas really reintroduced as a fashion brand but now they are really focusing on what they are known for.
