true.. it's interesting to see how personal these are...
like how the collection of images can only make sense to the person who created it
because there are special meanings attached to each one
--i find i sort of have trouble reading them sometimes :P

inaya and mullet...
i really love what you guys posted in here...

i really love collages...
but i haven't taken the time to learn how to do it on the computer...
is photoshop the best way?

^ I use Photoshop, but I think it can be done in most image editing programs (Corel, Paint Shop Pro, maybe even Paint!)

thanks softgrey

have you got any photo editing programs such as any of the ones mentioned in azote's post? :flower: I'd be glad to help out

i've got photoshop but have no idea how to use it or where to start...:(

i use paintshop pro....i think it's probably similar to photoshop....maybe less advanced...

soft i don't know how to use it very well either....i just play around with it til i find something that works.... something i did when i first started to play around with it that you could try is to just cut and paste different images onto one plain screen....in paintshop i think they're called layers.....so you can overlap them....move them around etc....and then i use a tool that blurs the edges of the pictures...you run it over the edges where you want it to blur and it gives the illusion that one picture sort of 'melts' into another...

that's what i do a lot of the time...hope it helps..:flower:

Mood board on Adobe Photoshop...

All I do is make a big canvas...
File > New > and make a size maybe 8.5 x 11 inches (you can always change the size as you go)

Then I load in all the pictures I want to use...
I can even open, say, My Documents and drag images into Adobe Photoshop and they'll open there instantly

Then I pick a file... hold CTRL and press A (to select the whole image)
choose CUT from Edit
then go to the new file, the 8.5 x 11 white canvas... choose Paste from Edit
(When you press paste, you will see that it creates a New Layer... it will pop up in the Layers window)

To resize an image in your board
Click the layer of the image
Choose the arrow icon in the toolbox (located at the top of the toolbox)
Then underneath the buttons File, Edit, etc. ... You will see "Show Bounding Box" --click that
--A box will appear around the image. Touch one of the square corners --your mouse will turn into an arrow with two heads-- and then under File, Edit, etc. you will see appear W: H: ...and so on. That will change the size of your image
--------------------------
You can also just use the arrow and move it about as you like, but if you use the W: H: using percentages, you won't skew any details of the original image

:bunny:
& for maybe more complicated questions, we have this thread
Questions for Adobe Photoshop

thanks to everyone for the helpful tips..:flower:...

i'll practice...
keep the great inspirations coming in the meantime...
