F/W 07.08 Ad Campaigns (please read post #1 before posting)

Me too....for obvious reasons :shifty: but I doubt Stam can gain her stranglehold back on BCBG again  Hey, but who knows! :D

Ahh...gotcha ;) I thought BCBG girls was the one targeting preteens. The name sounded quite familiar but I generally veer away from buying teen magazines so I haven't seen much of their advertising. Thank you! :smartass:

Well, it sort of is, too  To the Max! is more connected with Max Azria

this just in from fashionweekdaily:

'Sienna Miller was shot by Mario Testino for American Vogue while at the Valentino festivities.'

the behind the scenes photos were from this editorial, and not for a campaign as others had previously speculated.

Iselin for Loewe for the third time in a row. Photographer unknown. (Industry source)
I just saw the 07 f/w Loewe ad outside of my local shopping mall, but the campaign girl looked like Jessica Stam, not Iselin. I could be wrong though. Are we for sure that Iselin got the campaign?

A booker from Women Paris told me, so that should be a reliable source, but I don't think anyone has ever mistaken Iselin for Jessica Stam (it would be a first, I believe), so I guess it could be that they're both doing it. :flower:

Claudia Schiffer is Karl Lagerfeld's muse du jour.

Summary by: Leisa Barnett , Vogue UK
Date Published: July 05, 2007
Having recently caused a stir by sitting front-row at the Chanel Cruise show head-to-toe in pieces from the collection before the first model had even hit the catwalk, Claudia Schiffer proves why she's Karl Lagerfeld's muse du jour in the latest campaign for Dom Pérignon. Photographed at an 18th Century townhouse in the centre of Paris by the indefatigable Lagerfeld himself, a series of black and white shots depict Schiffer in the fantasy role of different "types" of women.
"This is the story of a young, handsome, aristocratic couple," Lagerfeld explains. "Inspired by the magic of Dom Pérignon, he sees his beautiful young fiancée in all kinds of strange situations she would probably never even think about or even dream about. For him, the idea that she could be all women in one is a perfect idea."
Schiffer runs the gamut from an angelic vixen reclining on a bed in lingerie, to a Liasons Dangereuse-inspired temptress seducing a lover, to holding court as a modern day businesswoman in power suit and glasses. The aesthetic is a move away from last year's less-edgy campaign, which starred Eva Herzigova as a fun-loving coquette.

Looks like Denisa Dvorakova's replacing Gisele for Joop!...

At least I think this is an ad for their main F/W collection (a bit confused by the "Launch Juli 2007" thing)...

Thanks for posting those links, Faith. I'm a bit underwhelmed by all of them, but seeing the transition from runway to advertisement is quite interesting.

I went to the shopping mall this morning just to make sure who the campaign girl was. I'm now pretty sure it's Jessica Stam for Loewe. But like you said, it could be that they're both doing it. :flower:

from wwd.com about the valentino couture campaign:

AND THE BAND PLAYS ON: This summer's hot invite, feting Valentino's 45th anniversary and couture collection last weekend in Rome, will soon make its way into the pages of Italian Vogue. Franca Sozzani, editor in chief, asked Mark Seliger to shoot a special editorial Valentino story for the September issue. Seliger was also tapped to shoot the Valentino couture ad campaign, which apparently took place right after the runway show and will also appear in the same issue. But that's not all for Seliger and Italian Vogue — word has it he also shot Gretchen Mol for the September issue.

Love Alana in the Missoni sport ads. ELise looks amazing as usual in the Paule Ka ad.

I can't find the pic though...
