F/W 2013 / 2014 Ad Campaign Thread - *News & Rumors Only* - Read Rules in Post #1

SUKI WATERHOUSE is the new face of Burberry, according to speculation this morning. Neither the model's agent, nor a Burberry spokesperson, were able to comment on the rumours. The British fashion house traditionally announces news of its autumn/winter campaign line-ups in July.

If true, the British beauty would follow in the footsteps of school friend Cara Delevingne, who is currently the face of the brand, as well as Emma Watson, Eddie Redmayne, Roo Panes, Kate Moss, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Douglas Booth - and, most recently, Romeo Beckham - all of whom have appeared in Burberry's adverts over the years. The label is known for casting young rising stars in its campaigns, whether actors and actresses or musicians and models.

The 20-year-old, known for her Sixties mod style, has previously fronted campaigns for Marks & Spencer and Pepe Jeans London. She was seen on the Burberry show front row in February this year.

Sienna Miller and her fiancé, Tom Sturridge, have been signed for a new Burberry campaign, a source tells Page Six. The pair joins the ranks of the brand’s current and former faces Cara Delevingne, Emma Watson, Kate Moss and Romeo Beckham. Speculation was that Bradley Cooper’s gal pal, model Suki Waterhouse, may be another new Burberry face. Reps for the English line chose not to comment. Sources said they usually announce their autumn/winter ad talent lineups in July.

MAX MARA MUSE: Could Jennifer Garner be the face of a future Max Mara advertising campaign? Word is that the actress was recently photographed for the Italian fashion house, though the nature of the shoot and the season the images are intended for could not be learned. Max Mara declined to comment on the speculation.

Garner, who is married to Ben Affleck and a mother of three, may not be a regular in the front row of fashion shows or at fashion parties, but her sophisticated red-carpet appearances have made her a favorite for many designers to dress.

THE ARTIST WAY: Zilli, the luxury French men’s wear brand, is set to launch a new ad campaign in June — and the face of its fall ad campaign is American artist Aaron Young. Peter Lindbergh shot the campaign in a Parisian apartment.

Laure Heriard Dubreuil’s beau is pictured wearing a Zilli leather jacket. The ads will break in June issues of titles worldwide, with Young being the brand’s ambassador for a year.

The campaign marks a move from the brand’s previous campaigns featuring models. “It is a first of a series. Our campaigns will feature artists over the next three years,” Alexandra Schimel-Fila, Zilli marketing communications director, revealed.

The passion for contemporary art runs in the family, Schimel-Fila added, as her father Alain Schimel, Zilli founder and president, is a contemporary art fan. The company sponsors the Lyon Biennale of contemporary art and the Villa Medicis in Rome.
RON MAN: Cult cobbler Berluti is about to make a splash with its first new-look advertising since relaunching as a luxury lifestyle label for men in 2012 under the creative direction of men’s wear designer Alessandro Sartori. Word has it the forthcoming campaign, photographed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino, will feature British actor Jeremy Irons and society figure Pierre Casiraghi, who is third in line to the throne of Monaco. The ads are expected out in May.

The French firm, founded in Paris in 1895 and now piloted by Antoine Arnault, is ramping up its profile and image as it rolls out a network of some 20 new stores, including locations in New York, Paris, Shanghai and Tokyo.

KRISTEN STEWART will star in a second campaign for Balenciaga, it has been confirmed. The Vogue cover girl, who is the face of the label's Florabotanica fragrance, has already shot another campaign - set for release in the autumn. A spokesperson for the fashion house confirmed the news to New York Magazine late last night.

Stewart's relationship with the brand emerged thanks to her friendship with former creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere, and as the actress hasn't been seen wearing Balenciaga since his departure in November - when Alexander Wang took over the helm - many assumed that her contract had come to an end. The 23-year-old also recently spoke out about Ghesquiere, saying how proud she was of him, and commenting that she "would totally run away" with the designer - prompting reports that she had severed ties with the French house.

No further details on the actress' new Balenciaga campaign have yet been released.

Gisele Bundchen Signs Another Multi-Million Dollar Deal, This Time With H&M

Poised to become the world’s first billionaire supermodel, Gisele Bundchen just added another high-profile contract to her already extended résumé. The supermodel will front the autumn/winter 2013-14 campaign for Swedish retailer H&M, which is expanding its presence internationally but is yet to set foot in Bundchen’s home country of Brazil, whose retail industrial growth is one of the highest among the world’s developing nations.

Although no figures on Bundchen’s new contract were released, sources tell FORBES that she “is probably taking home something in the $3 million to $5 million neighborhood.”

Bundchen, who last year topped Forbes’ Highest-Paid Models list with a whopping $45 million in annual earnings, has previously worked with H&M on its spring/summer 2011 campaign.

The supermodel also signs a budget-friendly clothing collection for Dutch retailer C&A, which is a best-seller in Europe and Brazil. Bundchen has also recently been announced as a spokesmodel for Chanel beauty, not to mention her multi-year contracts with P&G‘s Oral-B and Pantene brands, and DirecTV-controlled satellite operator SKY Brasil, according to FORBES Brasil.

In addition to her modeling gigs, Bundchen has her own collection of sandals in partnership with Brazilian footwear company Grendene, which accounts for more than 60% of the company’s annual exports (roughly $250 million in 2011 alone), a joint-venture with Brazil’s largest lingerie retailer Hope, Gisele Bundchen Brazilian Intimates, and her own eco-friendly cosmetics company, Sejaa Pure Skincare, which is based in Phoenix, Ariz.
