NEW FRONTIER: LIVE IT
Cowboy Boots: Devi Kroell
With cowboy boots stomping runways from New York to Milan, it takes some classy kickers to stand out from the crowd. Our favorites? Devi Kroell's. The designer, who's slouchy bags earned her a nomination at this year's CFDA Awards, is taking things westward with her new footwear line, which features riding boots too pretty to stick in stirrups.
Devi Kroell leather and python boots, $1,670, available at Barneys New York, (800) 826-8900, and Outfit at Wynn Las Vegas, (702) 770-3465.

Michael Kors Lace-Up Knee Boot from Neiman Marcus
Biker chic—funky laces and haute hardware on an edgy calfskin boot.
• Black shiny calfskin.
• Shiny nickel hardware.
• Speed-lace front.
• Double-buckle strap on side.
• 4" stacked heel.
• Made in Italy.
you are welcome, curious! :flower: I think i love those Riding boots too! Gucci rocks, i just wonder how much they are now!

omg, i want them!!

Can't go wrong with classics

I agree with you on the cowboy boots and uggs...they need to be gone! I think we haven't seen the end of the rounded toe or the extremely pointed toe yet. These from http://www.shoebuy.com are probably one of the classic styles that will be around for a while:

I also think we'll be seeing a lot more boots with embellishments (like fur).

I am thinking about next fall/winter and what style will be going on? Is ist pointy or round. Flat or Stilletto? I guess Cowboy will be gone (hopefully) and I hope there aren't going to be any new Ugg-style boots

So what do you guys think? Please feel very free to post pictures :P

btw, the Dior aviator boots will cost almost $1,700!!!

Just wanted to let you know that I got my chloe boot that I had been swooning over:heart: . My hubby was in Paris on Friday and picked them up for me, and they are delicious. So very comfortable and a good size heel. Roll on Autumn, I am so over summer now!:woot:

congratulations Chloe-babe! It's very nice of your husband to pick them up for you!
How high is the heel? How much are those? Thanks!

not a huge fan of those mccartney white boots... it's like pocahontas meets nancy sinatra, and nobody walked away happy.

Ahh, thanks :D , I really, really like them, but just beware, they come up very small. I am usually a uk 4.5 -5 (which is a US 6.5 - 7), but they only had one pair left already at Chloe Paris and it was a 39 (UK 6), luckily I thought I would risk it as I could always wear socks with them, but they are a perfect fit, so anyone thinking of getting a chloe pair, I would definitely recommend one size larger than you usually are.

Hubby paid 825 euros, (I think that works out cheaper, as in the UK the retail is 545 gbp). The heel is perfect for daytime, I shall measure it later!) :flower:

Did anybody see the Dior boots in store yet? How much do they cost?
Thanks!

They are going to be $1860 I believe and they are not in stores yet but should be in the NY store first.

I so hate heels in winter. I know "OMG" follow the trend and wear them, but when it's cold, I want to feel comfortable and warm...I'll always stuck to my FILAs, in or out. :ninja:

Curious, what do you think of these? I am on the verge of buying them. They are F/W 0405 Helmut Lang.
