Fall/Winter 05/06 - which boots are hot?

I am thinking about next fall/winter and what style will be going on? Is ist pointy or round. Flat or Stilletto? I guess Cowboy will be gone (hopefully) and I hope there aren't going to be any new Ugg-style boots

So what do you guys think? Please feel very free to post pictures

I think the skinny jean tucked in look is still going to be huge, and Chloe have done a couple of fab pairs in brown. If you give me a couple of minutes I will post some piccies

I think (as much as a hate to say it) this season we're moving away from the pointy toe. In boots there will be I think two major trends.

1. the round toe/ high heel boot

and 2. the flat knee boot (with a more squared toe)

This I love with a full knee length skirt

I LOVE both of those chloe boots... Chloe is all around amazing, their bags, shoes, clothes... but soo pricey

i agree on the trend for round toe/high heel boots, they gonna be huge.

I personally love pointy toes and a bit of a hell - I reckon a more rounded toe might be more popular though (but not for me).

There will probably be another style of Uggs around - not that I was too much of a fan of them, but I did love Mukluks.

I have a pair of white mukluks, I love them, what color do you have? I also love the grey. Check ou the kitson site, they have a new boot that similar to the mukluk, I ordered one in the darker color.

Kitson also has the new style of uggs, I dont really like them that much

I think (in the UK anyway) it's all about straps and buckles, the pirate boot style, round toes with heels. Topshop have some great boots in already for autumn and there's a pair i'm already in love with but can't afford! And the jeans tucked into boots look is still firmly in place. Hopefully all those furry monstrosities from last year will disappear but i'm still seeing them even in the hottest days of summer, so i doubt it!

I really like those chloe boots but they quite remind me of balenciaga from a couple of seasons ago. I agree with round toe and a bit of a stacked heel....good call on the wedge boots I think. I don't like those square toed dior's though. blech.
