False Eyelashes

In Europe they sell Eyelure lashes, with a special glue that makes shore it stayes for 4 weeks, when you buy you get with it a special remover

I'll definately try the Ardell ones now. I was going to buy the Shu or Make Up Forever ones - but now I feel comfortable knowing that the cheap ones are good too. So if I decide I hate fake lashes I won't waste money.

Does anyone wear them during the day?

i use them during the day, i love them because they dont look so overly fake

I have never actually worn fake lashes! I've had eyelash extensions, which I loved, but they ended up destroying my natural lashes

I really want to wear them for New Year's Eve and the holidays.

A friend who's a make up artist told me that cheap and expensive ones work the same. Is this true? I have no problem spending money and getting more expensive ones if they look beautiful and not trashy and cheap. So what are the best brands out there? Thanks a ton.

There are also Red Cherry lashes, I have not tried them myself, but I know many people who swear by them for everyday wear.

I'm a newbie to false eyelashes and still trying to put them on correctly. So far this is what I have been doing:

*Curl my natural lashes. Apply mascara.
*Put Duo adhesive glue to the false lashes. Wait 30 sec to dry.
*Using tweezers, I put them close to my lash line.
*Apply another coat of mascara.

But these are the problems I've been having:
1. When I put the false lashes on my lids, you can see the pale yellow glue. How do you apply the glue so that it won't be visible?
2. When I put the false lashes, the outer corners usually don't stay put. Do you apply more glue to that area? Or do you rip off the entire lash and apply more glue and put back on your lid?

Any suggestions on how to fix that? Thanks!

I've been wearing False eyelashes almost everyday since I was 17 (almost 4 years) And here's what you should know:

Duo Eyelash Adhesive is the absolute best. Buy the Dark Tone! When you apply it it's a grey color, but dries black so if you've made a mistake with your lashes it will not show the way that the lighter colored glues show. Also, if you have excess glue on top of your lashes and it shows on your lid, just use tweezers to pull it off.

When the outer corners won't stay put (I hate that) Lightly tug at the lash and re-apply the glue. Wait a few seconds and press down so that it will stick.

Red Cherry eyelashes are the best. They're priced from $1.00-2.00 depending on where you live and they're all I use. They look natural, don't shed when you're taking them off to apply and the rim is bendy so you can mold them easily to the shape of your eye.

Personally I do not use Mascara on my lashes (natural or fake) because many times depending on if your lashes are thick or thin, you can see the mascara underneath the false eyelashes. I also do not put mascara on false lashes because they won't last as long. Definitely curl your lashes before applying false lashes though.

ive used the revlon no glue ones, sorry im really bad with names! and i find they give a great outcome but you got to be really careful taking them off as they can bend and be ruined but if you get them off right you can use them again with just a tad of eyelash glue!

Question for anybody willing.

I normally apply my falsies UNDER my natural eyelashes.

However, I was looking through one of Bobbi Browns' books and the photo appeared to have the model applying at the top of her natural lashes. Is application done this way, too?

^How do you apply falsies UNDER you natural lashes on your upper lash line?! That sounds very painful I have never heard about anyone ever doing that

Yes, definately! I don't need mascara with those, they just blend in with my natural lashes.
