False Eyelashes

Hi Pinkpolo,

Try using those pre-flued fake eyelashes! I buy mine from Sasa (Cosmetic Store) in my country for about US$6 a pair, they are reusable, you just have to replace the adhesive strand. And they are super gorgeous, no messy sticky glue  Hope it helps!

Have you guys seen the Victor and Rolf for Shu Uemura lashes? They are so amazing.

Here are some false lashes I'd love to try out! (All pics from Yahoo Shopping Center Taiwan)

I know a girl who wears false lashes everyday! Thing is, they look perfect and natural on her. The key is knowing how to put them on properly... :D

those last ones you posted looks really nice. I used to have false eyelashes the ones that lasts for more than one day but I got sick of them and it looks weird when you lose some of them. But I really like falsies, but I wouldn't have the time to put them on every single day.

^Same here. I watched my friend do it though, she only takes a minute... It's scary

^ I have a friend that puts them on every day too. I don't have the patience although I love the way they make my eyes look

The video was okay but it was lame how 45 seconds in they show her "before" face with minimal makeup, and in the "after" she looks completely different with a fully made-up face. It's like, duh, no wonder it makes a difference

^I didn't even notice that! I just kept staring at the lashes, they look so hard to apply, yet the video makes it seem so easy!

I had a friend who was really good at putting on lashes like that and she did it on me all the time^^
I agree with December_25th you can't even see the lashes in the after picture since she's wearing so much makeup

I have never actually worn fake lashes! I've had eyelash extensions, which I loved, but they ended up destroying my natural lashes :(

I really want to wear them for New Year's Eve and the holidays.

A friend who's a make up artist told me that cheap and expensive ones work the same. Is this true? I have no problem spending money and getting more expensive ones if they look beautiful and not trashy and cheap. So what are the best brands out there? Thanks a ton.

^Nah, I think there is still a difference in design and quality, at least in my experience. I think Ardell is pretty good when it comes to lashes. :D You should try them out!

^Yup, but the reviews for their glues suck! I get my glues from Japanese brands, they're the best when it comes to lashes :brows:

99 Cent Stores have some of the cheap ones... if you wanted to try, they're only $1... they look quite close to Ardell.

I can't put the Ardell right :( The one that are 'one by one' it doesn't stay on my lash.... I like the stripe that looks natural

I'll definately try the Ardell ones now. I was going to buy the Shu or Make Up Forever ones - but now I feel comfortable knowing that the cheap ones are good too. So if I decide I hate fake lashes I won't waste money.

Does anyone wear them during the day?

^I am still dying to try the Shu Uemura ones. I never wear them during the day, but tons of girls here do... and they all look... -_-
