Favorite airport?

OMG.....if you think Terminal 4 is good for shopping, you HAVE to go to Terminal 3.....EVERYTHING is there, Paul Smith, Mac, Kurt Geiger, Pringle, Jo Malone and FCUK plus all the ones you mentioned. It gets more shopping-orientated everytime I go to T3.

I quite like Dubai and Zagreb and Luxor are very quiet and old fashioned. Quite a relief from all the big gun airports

Well, I spent 12 amazing red eye hours in the LAX international airport with my friends before flying to Fiji, so it totally wins.

Actually, it was fun. Watching people come and go, playing cards,
reminiscing... LAX RULES.

I love Singapore's Changi Airport too..going through customs is a total breeze and there are so many things to do inside that I am not afraid if my flight gets delayed (which rarely happens in Changi too!)

Singapore's Changi International Airport

Oh yes. Nice quiet atmosphere, great design, great food , shops arent too good but the ones selling booze is just great!

its gotta be HONGKONG-

the architecture is mindblowing, the shops are grand (compared to sydney international.....) and everything is so clean. it doesnt have that stale airplane smell which is common for most airports.

and the fact that customs is easy breezy because of the ID card- no lines no nothing. and of course, they rarely search your luggage!!

now....compare that to australia.......

Frankfurt my love! I like to be there as long as I know I can leave soon - stock up on german magazines and eat some wurst! yummy! Also love dublin airport - it was like my home 2 years ago... How my least favourite - Moscow Sheremetyevo (dirty and depressing - just like our country!), but the newer one isn't that bad, Columbus aiport is just awfully boring, Heathrow is too expensive and too big, but they have some nice stuff to look at except terminal 2, Hanoi aiport - they actually have a big market instead of duty free, full of fake coach bags, Goa airport - just scummy... omg, Baku aiport got to have the rudest staff, they searched us like 4 times in space of an hour!

It's been said before, but Changi Airport in Singapore is lovely. I swear, they have everything you could possibly imagine there, complete with tranquility gardens. It's very nice. The airport in Nice is pretty cool as well, mostly for where it's situated, as there are surprisingly few shops.

Also, I think Langkawi Airport deserves a mention. When I went, there were wild pigs running across the tarmac just as the plane touched down ...
