Favorite "Cheap" Shops?

Zara is the best! And Mango is nice too. Half of my wardrobe is Zara and Mango.
I voted for Zara because it has more variety.

Hm.. H&M is fun, Urban Outfitters is a little too- everyone has it, Bebe and Forever 21 are good... The joy of Zara and H&M is that we don't have them here, so people don't have your clothes- even if there were cheap! :D

I can't decide whether I should choose the Gap, Club Monaco or Mexx.
I rarely ever leave without buying anything in those stores!

It's just kind of funny to me that these shops are considered 'cheap', just because they don't carry haute coutoure, or ready to wear lines from Versace.
:ninja:

They carry cheaply made stuff, and none of them cost very much compared to high fashion designer labels.

Hehe, I guess so.
But I guess I just never understood the thought process behind paying 'designer prices'.
Yes, you get quality, but at that price, you could get a few shirts, some hard liquor, and a high class call girl. Hmm.

I'll stick to my cheaply made Mexx chinos, and Banana polo shirts, thank you very much.

OOH! I visited Urban Outfitters for the first time in my life just 4 days ago, and oh God, I loveeed it! I loved the fact that the blazers fit my small build (I can never get jackets to look decent on me) and I just loved the selection and it was justttt great. New favourite.

I have some awesome silver flip flops from Express. :flower:

And, I chose Express... Some of their stuff is good. Used to by Gap, but anymore

My all-time favourite is Blanco, but it only has stores in Spain and Portugal... so it's not in the options  I voted for Zara

I wish we had a Zara, Mango, and H&M where I live, even Topshop.

Arg, I miss living in Europe!

H&M is dangerous...i cant go in without buying accessories...mind u theyr such reasonably prices i dont get to distressed :)
get urself down to a charity shop...nd customise somethin...since theyr in the charity shop they wont be new so u wont hav to worry about evryone wearing it...and once you'v customised it no-one else has the same... :)

Urban Outiftters, J Crew, and the Gap. They are all good for basics, etc.

BTW J Crews cashmere line is really quite good, I believe it is actually done by Lora Pianna (sp?) and is very reasonably priced.

I live in Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain), and we have like eight Zara stores. Four of them are pretty close. We even have two in the same street. They are everywhere!! We also have like 7 or 8 Mango stores, and Blanco too. I guess that's because they're spanish brands. But It's crazy because they keep opening more stores here..but I'm not complaining, because I love them!

(Sorry for my bad english) :flower:

I guess it depends on your definition of cheap, but I think that Banana Republic and Urban Outfitters are pretty expensive if you buy at regular price. Their sales are very nice though, especially Urban Outfitters. Ditto for American Eagle. I love H&M for buying cheap stuff that you only wear a couple times, but the quality is horrible, especially the accessories, which break down after I wear them 2 times. Forever 21 is great too. My mom has some Gap credit card so she always gets free gift cards and stuff so it turns out to be the cheapest store for us, even though I don't really like their clothes, so I just get some staples there occassionally. Express and Charlotte Russe are also great for cheap clothes.

...I don't really have access to very many cheap but fashionable shops here. Its all high-end designer or overpriced crappy clothes (arden b, bebe, A&F, Wet Seal, ect...)

kind of sad actually. So I buy lots of clothes to compensate... usually urban oufitters :P
