Favorite "Cheap" Shops?

i loved Mango when in Spain - wish we had one here - good prices, lovely clothes, good fit.

H&M is okay - not fantastic though - it is cheap but had to try so many clothes on to get a fit. Sometimes the quality is shite - but you can pick up some good pieces here and there.

i loooooooooove RW&Co. here in Canada!! Total quality, great prices, excellent cut. i hope everyone would lemming over to RW&Co. AWESOME! Perfect fit, good material ... wonderful stuff and not cookie-cutter fashion.... more classic/classy and gooood.

2nd choice = Smart Set for good basics.

I can't believe that many TFS posters shop at Urban Outfitter's. I seriously refuse to shop there because the clothes there are just watered down, mass produced versions of a thrift store find. They're just bland generic copies of the latest "hip" trends, they try way too hard to appeal to every subculture (hiphop, indie, hardcore) and no matter what you get there 1000 other people are going to have it AND wear it on the same day! It is completely overpriced for the quality. Even if there are things I like there, I refuse to purchase it. However, they do have a great selection of humorous books!

Agreed. Very overpriced!

oh yeah and topshop :) most of these stores are hit or miss anyway, so they're overall ok.

A few of these may be exclusize to my area (not sure on that, so bare/bear...oh god...I can't remember which one to use  )

Gabriel Brothers: They carry designer defectives (sometimes it's actually not defective, just mislabeled for size...but you have to be careful) and brand name defectives/surplus for RIDICULOUSLY cheap prices...it's hard to find good stuff sometime though...you REALLY have to look, so a lot of people don't shop there

Burlington Coat Factory: Same deal, only without the defectives, it's factory surplus mainly, and some stuff from previous seasons

TJ Maxx: Pretty much same as Burlington, only more stuff.

Kohls: I buy my Jeans there for cheap. Their junior section has some overly trendy stuff, but if you look around you can find some cute stuff.

Lancaster Outlets: Ha! Now you know where I'm from...well, close. I'd have to say a was a bit disappointed last time I went out though.

Wet Seal: I know, it's universally hated, but I got a REALLY cute satin trench coat for $60, and it's not like I'm going to wear it so much that I'll ruin it right away!

H&M. I have made some bad choices here, but that's mostly because I was rushed, I think, and didn't try things on. The big downside to this place is it is ALWAYS packed, and the people who work there are always flustered (understandably) I love the girls who shop there though. It's odd, I always meet people in there and start little conversations about fashion. It's cute.

Old Navy: They have some wicked sales! I love that they ALWAYS have bright colors...even in the winter and fall. Sometimes it's a bit of a pastel overload when I go in there though.

One I don't like is Express...I may be deficient, but I've had a few friends who shopped their religously...and their pants fell apart and their tops faded after only a few washings

I know, I'm really good at this cheapo places thing. That's because I only shop at cheapo places. I mean, as far as quality, most of my stuff looks pretty decent (unless I've personally destroyed it by dyeing my hair in it, getting it caught on a nail...etc). This could be, however because most of what I own is jeans and t-shirts.

there's the coolest shoe shop in singapore called "Charles and Keith"...apprently a local design that's available in south east asia...their shoes are really cool, original and very cheap...

I found a real Fendi Wallet at Winners, but like only once, and I never saw anything of that pricepoint at winners ever again. They carry some diesel stuff, sevens, mix sixty, brands that I don't care for myself, but when I'm wardrobe consulting I sometimtes shop there and resell at retail price.

I like my Kensington Market, and 69Vintage, and Holt Renfrew Last call (all in Toronto) sometimes has some nice finds.

Delia's
H&M
Topshop
Urban Outfitters

I also visit Abercrombie & Fitch and American Eagle Outfitters sometimes for their jeans and skirts, and TJ Maxx for discounted Coach and LAMB bags. ^_^

Zara:heart: It's really cheap here, it's the cheap shop where I find more clothes I like.
