Favorite Tacky Item(s)

I think that each of us has items in our wardrobe collections that are considered tacky, but worn the right way just work! We have a thread Fashion Don'ts but I think we need one for those things that should be a Don't but aren't!

Vintage Gold Lame handbags - I can't help it....I buy it.
70s Disco dresses (I'll chop them short and wear with jeans)

i have several gold cluthes, and a lame bag as well!

a few random tacky items:



= red patent belt with gold chains attatched
=vinyl scriunch boots[ 80's era] with my graff tagging on them
=costume jewelery, fake bling, chains, big earings
= vintage rock t's

and the beat goes on!!!! ....... TFS would hang me!

I can't get away with tacky these days, but I used to love my black vinyl micro-mini and black vinyl and net corset.

Patent leather purple belt with faux Chanel logo (it was my aunt's when it was very in on the 80's....even at that time knockoffs were in )

Hot pink fedora with black silk band

Black converse hi tops with all my senior class signatures

baggy shocking green sweatshirt that I use for sleeping purposes only

My knee-high chunky brown boots. I just love it when they're worn with a collared shirt over a sweater and a khaki skirt in the fall.

My plaid "farmer"/"cowgirl" top. I can't resist. I love that sexy cowgirl look once in a while. Oh, and it's pink. Hah.

the first thing I can think of would be anything that looks like it belongs to your retired grandad: golf jackets and trousers in crazy colours; flat-caps, fedoras, and pork-pies; old argyle sweaters; seersucker stripe or gingham check blazers in the summertime.

and I have loads of 70s shirts in <how can put this?> questionable prints. I cant help it.

Oh yeah and and my Itis T-shirt I wear with the dog sniffing the other dog's butt. Tacky, I know, but I love it anyway.
