I loved the Hoghedge by Dick King Smith and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory-Roald Dahl

As a kid I loved Where the Wild Things Are, anything Dr. Seuss and the Berenstein Bears

As a teen, I loved the entire Narnia series, the Nancy Drew series, and the Sweet Valley High series ( ). Kind of a strange array now that I think about it...

My Sweet Orange Tree by Jose Mauro de Vasconcelos

If you got it close to you, please read it!! It will make you grow up.

"Are You My Mother?" is still a favorite. The children in my class love this book and so do I.

Encyclopedia Brittanica, the "H" book; and later when I was 7 I took a liking to the "R" book. Of course all the others in that collection were total propaganda rot.
