and those old reel to reel films I watched in elementary school, liek the one with the red balloon that floats around looking for love. and the soundtracks to those are phenomenal, the horrible sound only adds to the vibe.

I remember that...I adored it somehow...a red balloon going about somewhere in France and the only dialogue was this kid saying "Balon!"

^_^

Rocky Horror.

Brick will definitely be a cult hit when it hits theatres.

Napoleon Dynamite, you guys probably hate, but lol. I have a soft spot for that movie

 I love Napoleon Dynamite...it's one of my favorite movies. Gosh!

Office Space -- I'm one of the cool kids who discovered it before it became a cult hit.

Trainspotting -- the movie itself sucks but it has a sweet soundtrack and Ewan makes an extremely hot junkie.

Reservoir Dogs -- I've always preferred it slightly to Pulp Fiction.

Lost Highway

The Ice Storm

The Conversation

Carnival of Souls -- 50s cult hit that inspired Night of the Living Dead

Spoorloos -- The original Dutch version of The Vanishing. One of my favorite thrillers of all time.

Don't Look Now -- Flawed plot, but haunting visuals

Pi

Picnic at Hanging Rock

Dogstar Man

Blade Runner

Oleanna -- Not a cult hit, but a very good, underrated David Mamet film.

Glengarry Glen Ross

Duel -- A taut thriller by Spielberg that's much more interesting than most of his later work.

The Hitcher -- Another great underrated thriller
