^sad but true
Thanks for the chants dorien. I'm sure I'll have to work on my Spanish pronunciation.ziegfied girl, you are in for 90 minutes of pure emotion,
especially if you watch it with the right people.
(people who know the game, the history and the chants. beer always helps too)
here in NYC the best bar to watch any match, but especially el Clasico is at Nevada Smiths. but what i would give to be at Camp Nou for the game
i just hope Madrid comes out attacking, and we will see a good game.
quick lesson for the new Culé.
"¿Qué se quema? Madrid. X3 Madrid se quema, se quema madrid, madrid se quema, se quema madrid. Madrid se quema, se quema madrid, madrid se quema, madrid se quema, se quema madrid"
"Olele Olala, ser del Barça es, el millor que hi ha'
"Madrid, cabrón, saluda el campeón"
that's it for today
They have time to restore everything though. It's a good thing though because developement throughout the countries will be promoted and achieved, just like SA. The distance in Russia itself though is huge.
It is true though. Do you honestly think that the FIFA is not in it for the money. They're a bunch of douchebags making dumb statements and not willing to make rules or adjustments that does not benefit the FIFA directly or even indirectly. They're in it for the money, sure, not only for that but it's atleast 40% of their intentions.^
Football is actually the most popular sport there.. (where's BerlinRocks when you need him, sighs)
I am happy for Qatar .. it's refreshing, it will open up the Middle East a little more and hopefully open some minds too about the Middle East, too. Only downside is the remoteness, which makes it crazy expensive if you're hoping to go (which I'm not lol).
Also happy for Russia, I think they'll be more than ready to host an event like this after their Sochi debut. I was also concerned on how they'd manage the distances but it's all staying in Western Russian, which makes sense even if the Eastern part could also benefit from some exposure/investment.
I don't ~honestly~ thing anything. I rolled my eyes at the stereotypical statement that an Arab nation only manages to score something thanks to its oil.It is true though. I mean, the fact that they're an association and don't feel like they should play like companies do, says a bunch.
FIFA is full of corruption.
the ignorance in some of these posts are too sad to be laughable.
the ignorance in some of these posts are too sad to be laughable. if fifa was all about the money wouldn't they have gone for England? or America, i seem to recall them hosting the most financially sound WC ever.i applaud FIFA's decisions to go for two outsider countries instead of the usual suspects.Qatar is far modern and socially stable than most people give credit for.
i think it's odd that when fifa decides to bring the biggest event in football, 'the world's sport', to the rest of the world people get up in arms about it.
