Favourite football / Soccer team

^in that case, mods could/should consider changing the thread title to just Football/Soccer...

Did you watch the game last night? Great match, and finally a win for us over Barca (ok lets not mention it was only a friendly :P)

i was actually going to be at that game since it's not so far from NYC, and some lads from la peña were making the trip, but.....

my girlfriend's family was in town the same week,
and we where showing them around the city.
i didn't get even get to watch the game.
it's a friendly, so i went quietly with them, without much of a fuzz.

Thiago has been playing phenomenal though,
not surprised he scored. he is the next xavi, to me, not cesc.
different style. they need to learn to use what they already have and stop spending money like madrid. Bojan could have been great, he just needed consistent playing time. hopefully he gets that at Roma.

I wonder, with what NT is he going to play eventually? He can still pick Brazil (if they call him, which they should after their performance in Copa America they could use a player with his skills) because he hasn't been called by Vicente del Bosque for Spains NT, although he has played (and won) with the U-21 NT of Spain, so he has a preference for Spain I think.

Chivas de Guadalajara beat Barca 4-1.:shock: Pep has a lot of work to do before the SuperCup against Madrid. :innocent:

^ just a matter of motivation , it's summer, the heat, the holidays...

I partially agree, let's see how they do against America from Mexico today in Cowboy stadium.

In Milan news, AC Milan won the Italian Supercup 2-1 with goals by Ibra and KPB. And we are now the team with mos "W" in the Italian SuperCup history. FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!! :mohawk:

I was at that game hoping Barca would win, but alas they didn't. But at least I got to see the star players really close. ^_^

Lucky, :P the best team Im going to be able to see within reach is Monterrey and Seattle Sounders thanks to the Concacaf Champions League. Go Comunicaciones (my local guatemalan team). :mohawk:

by the way, does Cristiano Ronaldo has a thread in TFS? if he does, can someone please link it :flower:
