One of my favourite things to do when i have time is browse through interior design and architecture blogs..
it's like having a million virtual design magazines to leaf through.. there's a lot of good stuff out there but it can be hard to find blogs that suit your personal aesthetic or showcase the kinds of things you're looking for..
i don't tend to like too many DIY posts or a random collection of pictures of people's bathrooms from flickr...
i also like the blogs that strike a good balance between showcasing real homes, restaurants, interior spaces etc and beautiful individual designs...lighting, chairs, tables, etc. you have to weed through a lot of average blogs to find the exceptional ones, imo, or the ones that speak to you..
so i thought it would be fun to start a thread where we can share the crème de la crème of interior design + architecture blogs !
One of my absolute favourites...
Blue Ant Studio
http://blueantstudio.blogspot.com/
i love all the minimalist spaces and clean, modern lines....Ahhhhh..
i also really like..
Beauty Lies in the Eye
http://beautyliesintheye.blogspot.com/
this one is a nice mix of scans from fashion + design magazines... i love the little peep into people's homes and lives.. i think the owner of the blog might also post here at tfs....not 100% sure though..
The Selby

a bit of a different take on a design blog.... i'm sure you're all familiar with the selby.. showcasing the homes and work spaces of artists, celebrities, designers, chefs, you name it ! some really cool, inspiring images here and i love his photography style..
Unhappy hipsters
http://unhappyhipsters.com
like the selby this is not strictly an interior design blog but indirectly it is ! the author takes images from Dwell and then creates hilarious captions to go with them.. i am often laughing out loud at some of these.. i just recently discovered this blog and i can't get enough of it. if you only do one thing today please read some of these...
i`ll add more as we go on... now it`s your turn!
