I agree, Say Anything with John Cusak holding up the boombox

Goodfellas-deniros close up with "sunshine of your love" playing in the background

harold and maude-when harold puts his face through the phallic sculpture

Cry Baby-johnny depp with the tear rolling down his face

Goodfellas is such a good movie! I love love love Cream and Sunshine of Your Love playing with De Niro smoking his cigarette :D

The ending in Lost In Translation when Bob whispers in Charlotte's ear.

I also loved the scene in Reality Bites when they're dancing to My Sharona.

The scene in "In the Mood for Love" when Maggie Cheung and Tony Leung are practicing their goodbye is just devastating.

in true romance when they are in the beach in mexico with baby elvis, its so sweet.

Three come to mind.

The Last of the Mohicans
Uncas is toast and Alice is left bereft. They had nothing in common except being horny for each other. Anyway, Magua motions at her to follow him but instead she chooses to fling herself off the mountain. The expression on Magua's face is amazing: complete incomprehension that a girl would swan dive into boulders over a dumb guy.
Great scene! I love that movie.

I can't think of my favorite right now but I was watching Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind this morning, and I really really love the scene where they're talking under the blanket.

...the end scene of sixteen candles: samantha and jake, with the cake between them...

Loved that film! I like the bit where they’re lying together on the frozen lake.

One of my fav movies scene’s is Winona Ryder twirling in the snow in ‘Edward Scissorhands’

Also I love the bit in 'Donnie Darko' when Donnie kisses Gretchen outside the school

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events - Ending Credits Animation! :woot:

Audrey Hepburn having Breakfast At Tiffany's

one of the favourites, actually.

double-vie-de-veronique.jpg

la double vie de véronique

the autumnal ambience was a fine art and irène jacob was just astonishing in this scene.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind- When Jim Carrey tries to hide Kate Winslet in his childhood memories. Also when he's remembering them lying in bed and she's talking about how she used to think that she was ugly as a kid and he starts kissing her and saying "you're so pretty". That's when he realizes how much he loves her and wants to remember her.

Romeo + Juliet - when they see eachother for the 1st time through the fishtank and are so happy to have met, and then it's devstating to think that they'll be dead soon

Stage Beauty- When they perform the last scene of "Othello". Is he really trying to kill her? Very ambiguous.

The Phantom of the Opera- "All I Ask of You", the mirror scene, and the last scene where he makes her choose.

Gone With the Wind- When Scarlett shocks everyone by dancing after her 1st husband's death, when Rhett tells her he's going to war and leaving her and melanie to get to Tara by themselves, when Rhett proposes, when she realizes that she's loved Rhett all along (I know she'll get him back!)

Titanic-The scene where they're at the front of the boat and its sunset and they kiss. Shut up. I freakin love it.

I like the part when Jack dies. :flower:

from the movie "Giant" (1955) with Rock Hudson, Elizabeth Talyor, and James Dean

The part when Jett Rink (James Dean) is going to give the grand speech and passes out in front of everyone, but the thing that makes the scene for me is when he wakes up and gives the speech to a banquit hall with nobody hall in it. Just becasue its soo funny, ironic, and charismatic.
