I just had to share this picture. Its one of the few I can think of that has most of the top Black models in it. Its from an old issue of Vanity Fair and I just love it. Sorry about the scan quality I've been holding on to this picture forever and a day. They all look so beautiful and serene, I'd love to see more group shots like this taken.

Claudia Mason & Beverly Peele for Vogue 1992 both were top girls in the early/mid 90s. Mason during her height(unlike Chrystele) hid her blackness and tried to pass due to encouragement by agents,etc ,however she didn't fool me! I wish it didn't take so long for her to acknowledge her father. However, I think she is a really good model.

thanks alot for posting it. Never saw any of her work before!!!I read an interview she did in a kenyan paper sometime back and she didn't have any love for the modelling industry. She said that she was glad to have left it she now does charity work she has an organisation I think.

Does anyone know Anna Getaneh? She's ethiopian and was a top model in the 90's. Shes now a very successful fashion designer and has a company called african mosaique www.africanmosaique.com
