Who is Claudia Mason, Omi?


In the Iman book, there was a pic of Kiara as a baby and she looked just like the little girl Angelina Jolie recently adopted. I bet she's going to be beatiful.


And I saw MJ's "Liberian Girl" vid and Beverly Johnson was in it looking beautiful.

For Sepia & Joseph-yes she's mixed(white/black parents). Like I said a little earlier, when she started she was encouraged to not bring up the black parent and her real background. So they passed her off as kind of Spanish hoping this would give her more success. She being young went along with it. After her height she confessed, but it took awhile.
She started about 1985 or 86, finally reaching Top Model status in 1991 where she would work successfully until like 1997. She got covers,ads,appeared in lots of fashion mags like Vogue, did runway for the likes of Versace.
All in all I think she was a darn good model, but I don't agree with the whole hiding her race thing. Maybe if she confessed early she couldn't worked longer.

Thanks for the photos. I always wondered why she wasn't there. I would elect to dump some of the 'others'? Veronica has done more than half if not most of those girls in the photo. IMO she is only rivaled out by Naomi,Iman & Beverly. So only 3-5 girls there have something on her career/talent wise, the rest were invited why over Webb? I'm going to make myself feel better and say maybe she was doing some charity or movie or something.

Thanks Capt. BTW beauty is in the eyes of the beholder so not everyone is ever going to agree on what 'this' is or 'that' is like my best friends boyfriend saying I don't see any stunning/sexy white models? So funkalicious,etc what you find attractive some/most may not so don't be so negative.
