Any doll faces??
Hmm - I'm not sure what you mean by doll faces. But if we're talking about mainstream fashion, as it appears in all the big glossies and on most runways, then - depending on your point of view - we're pretty much talking about doll faces - whether they be white, black, or any shade in between!!! Isn't that what fashion is all about after all: clothing and painting yourself to look like something you're not - whether you're a man or a woman - white or black - it's all the same - no matter how you slice it, we're all slaves to fashion!
Anyhow, as someone just said: Back to the Girls!:D : another pretty doll face - Louise Vyent - one of my faves - courtesy of bwgreyscale.com:

Thanks Capt. BTW beauty is in the eyes of the beholder so not everyone is ever going to agree on what 'this' is or 'that' is like my best friends boyfriend saying I don't see any stunning/sexy white models? So funkalicious, etc what you find attractive some/most may not so don't be so negative.

I meant something more like Cute/Gemma-esque/Heather-esque models. Like Samantha Harris but she's Australin.

I guess you can define it as round face, big eyes?

It was the way it was said and repeated, I just think it could've been worded better. As you can see other posters where like 'What'. So I just responded and said we all don't have the same standard of beauty.
As far as what they are looking for now I see what the poster finds beautiful. I wish it was said 'like Gemma' and I would say 'No' and thank god b/c I find her ugly, and I'm not alone. And that's my opinion.
The blackmodels that were/are called doll-faces several are here(like Lana,Louise, etc). I see them as dollfaces and someone like Gemma alien like(you said it Sugarmama, I wasn't going to;)). Sorry that's just IMO. The poster didn't see or get the look they were looking for here. So like I said we all have different views. I stand by my comments.

Nobody can top Alek or Yasmine for that fact! Amazing inspirations!
Nadine, Ajuma, Peve, Atong and Sessilee are the fresh faces to look out for!

Grace Jones(one time model) on this great book cover, her face rocks. Which I vividly remember going to pay for it & the cover knocked both me & the blond cashier out. Photo Source:scanned by me

How could I forget Grace! Totally agree!^^

She still kinda has the same face, even at 57, she will be 58 in 2 months, and not to mention killer legs. I saw her perform 'Pull Up to the Bumper' at a fashion benefit a year or two ago and she rocked & was struting her behind off!

Another first: This beauty was Glamour US first black covergirl(1969), look at her face closely and see if you can guess who she is b/c I'm not giving it away soon:lol:! Photo Source:scanned by me

Another first, Vogue having a blackcovergirl with Donyale Luna(1966). She can be considered a topmodel before Naomi Sims. Naomi just had more direction:innocent::(. Photo Source:scanned by me

I always thought Beverly Johnson was the first Black woman on Vogue.
