Ladies - I just sprayed my Spy with the AG Rain repellant spray. It looks pretty dark and shiny right now. Is it suppose to stay this way even after it dries?

You should keep an eye out on the eLux website if you are still interested in the Petrol Spy. I haven't shipped it back to them yet but will do so probably the end of this week. They are pretty fast in the return processing. I can post a note when eLux emails me stating that they have processed my return. Pretty much the bag will show up on the website soon after that email.

Personally, if I were you, I would keep it and somehow make the painful CC work. I think it'll be a long time before they come up with a brilliant color like that again. But if you are returning it, I will have to shark the Elux website

I would make 150% sure before I send a petrol back too! That's one thing great about Elux, you really have time to think things over and not have buyer's remorse! It's a great bag with an even better color. I would keep it if I could.

I have the cognac and it was shiny for awhile, but now it's back to it's original look. It took maybe a day.

just to let everyone know, i was at madison on melrose with my mother yesterday, and they had three spy bags. she bought the chocolate, but they still had the cognac and black left. they also had a chocolate spy hobo.

Hallo girls,
i have a question and hope you resolve it: I seeing this 6842360037 and compared photos with my spy (i have a auth tortuga brown too) and noticed some differences:
1) the pattern on back is different
2) my letter "A" on the hologram number is near the numbers and not up.
3) my dustbag is black and not yellow.

I know the spy in auction is auth but why there are these difference?

What the heck is up with Saks? I'm currently waiting on a petrol spy and a cognac spy that were ordered aaaaaaaaaaaaages ago and yet - no shipment info. Why bother advertising them if the pre-order date your given isnt' even honored? I'd be surprised if all of you who have gone nuts ordering the Honey Spy's get them by the date they were promised to you!

I'm sorry to hear that! It also kind of happened to me with my petrol spy: the initial pre-order date was in October, and then the date came and went, and I received a notification that it was pushed back even further (I think end of November). However, two-three weeks before the new date, I received my spy. So I would recommend calling saks.com to see if you could get any further information.

I'm in the same boat as Ardiennet with Saks. At the time of order, Saks said my Spy would ship no later than 1/14/06. Last week, I contacted them when the bag never shipped, asking for a revised date. They said there was none available, and they'd contact me when they have one. They're having supply chain issues with Fendi. So *why* put more bags on pre-order when you can't fill the orders you have already? That's what has me frustrated.
