hardly. i just happen to have a mind for trivia. and if you feel like scrolling all the way back to page 3 of this thread, you'll see that i was talking about this bag then so you can say i've been on this bandwagon from the "beginning." ugh, just saying it makes me think i need to get a life (wishful thinking!)

love it! you're the early adopter. B)

which spy do you have, and have you enjoyed it? it's weird i've "talked" to you so many times, and it's never come up...

holy moly lilygirl and gg!! you gals rock and i second posi's nomination for you two to be bag historians! :)

I have most of the pics from the list, I'm about to go see a freind that visiting from out of town, but I'll get the rest and post when I get back!

I received a spy from Blue Fly and it says tobacco for the color. Is that an old color? Thanks

Wow! What a beautiful spy collection. It is a tuff decision to decide which ones to get rid of. I would go with the python first being that is the most expensive one and then the black and then the hologram.

so many bags to talk about, so little time. i have at one time or another had the green, bone, cognac and black pass through my hands, but the only one i kept was the petrol.

i believe its the official name for the dark brown. i assume you got the zucca with leather trim (i can't imagine the all leather ones being available on bluefly).

Thanks spycrazy for the info. and lilygirl for the picture :)
I initially thought the black/white spy was part canvas (bone/cream part of the bag).

hallo girlz, i m shocked for this auction 6862179430. The seller purchased 15 days ago this real spy and spoiled near handles by reason of hardware.

this bag value 1470 euros and after 15 days is spoiled?? omg...

It is not the zucca. They had that also. I purchased the all brown leather one. It looks like chocolate brown with brown handles the same color as the bag , but says tobacco on the card. From time to time early in the morning they have the all leather ones. Here it is from my order.

^^^Can you post pictures? I just ordered the brown all leather spy from bluefly a little while ago. I'm wondering which brown it is! :D

Gamya.....the cognac is prone to doing that...in that spot. The one my mother has does that in that spot and several places around the bag.

Its heartbreaking to have it happen but she LOVES it like that!

PS. My Fendi lady called last night to tell me B belts were in...

and that they will know what color spy/b bags will be for next fall!

I told her she better have a deep purple ostrich!

i think people with cognac spies prone to peeling should maybe not condition them at all, and try to use the heck out of them so the whole bag (not just the spot) will really age alot-- maybe even store them near a sunny window?

the other day i saw one that must have been used every day for a few seasons, i was surprised-- it looked sooooo cool b/c almost all of it was so faded. almost like an old saddle.

Posi (still love that....) how is the birthday discount going?

Yeah the point of getting the cognac new to the point of distress.....is a painful process to some. But once it gets to the way its supposed to be its beautiful!

gucci, well, thanks to you i think the bday discount is still on, although i don't know what's going on since none of the bags are in! i almost wonder if i should cancel them now that i know i will be keeping the black patent. that way i will have another shot at using it in the fall? what do you think?

on second thought, i think cognac owners should still condition ONLY the discolored parts, and try to abuse the brown parts...that way the aging will be more uniform...B)

When are they supposed to be in? Maybe don't carry the black until you see the white?

Remember white is good in winter now...winter white. Alot of designers started that...
