Hi girls..

i have a question..

And i'm referring to the coated calf leather fendi spy bags...

How do you "Shape" your bags so that the bottom is nice and fat and poofy but the folds near the handles are still deep such that the left and right sides (when you face the front of the bag) of the bag curve in so that the bag is more round Than rectangular like an open tote?

Its pretty easy...you just have to tuck the sides in....mine gets automatically poofy at the bottom

Hi girls..

received my White fendi spy from blackavus777 recently. I know this seller is mostly genuine.. but something happened and I'm not trusting him so much anymore. Please tell me my bag is not a fake......but there's this botch on the front that the seller refuses to admit was there before he sent me the bag.

my camera is dead.. so had to use my pda to take the pics. The clear picture is from the ebay listing... where you can see the botch...

oooh. and if the bag is genuine (pending expert opinion!).. tell me what i should do? should i just give up and accept the bag as it is? return the bag for full refund? or ask for some money back? (like the way you would ask a store to give you discount if the item was slightly imperfect)?

This is my first fendi spy!

waterfalls - sorry that your bag arrived imperfect. in the auction photos, is that blotch visible? if so, then i am not sure if he will give you a partial refund. if not, i would push for partial refund, or a full refund if you don't think you'll be happy with this bag having this defect. you definitely shouldn't accept the bag as is, especially if you paid full price for it.

edit.: you can always dispute for a refund too from your cc, if say, you used VISA. they will protect you against merchandise that are defective, etc.

The FIRST picture (the clear one with the circle) is the picture from the ebay listing. would youconsider that visible? because I saw it only after I received the bag and luckily i saved the picture because the listing is kinda gone now i think.

The blurry pictures are MY pictures. the clear picture is the seller's picture. I circled the botch myself to show him (used paintbrush!)

so yeah.. i'm trying to push for a some refund.. because I do like the bag very much., but if he really doesn't wanna budge.. i will have to return the bag... paid so much for it. =( USD$2350.

Anyway a got a question...

I saw a pic on ebay for a white fendi spy with the black handles and lipstick outside compartment thing, but it had an all white outside flap.

Am I wrong or did fendi only make the black and white with a black patch on the outside flap? Or did they do it with a plain white flap?

I know the red/white and the green/white had plain white flaps, but did the black? Please help me clarify this! I don't know why but it's killin me not knowing!! Thanks!

I am sorry to hear about your experience. I was going to buy a petrol spy from Blackavus777 especially since he lives in my area and I was going to go look at it and buy it in person but he was charging a premium over the actual sales price which I was not willing to pay. I have one on the way from another seller at slightly below retail which to me is the whole point of buying on ebay. Ebay/paypal's process is not very helpful with regard to an item not being what you thought it was...mainly only if you never received the item. In the experiences I have had with an imperfect item I only found relief through Visa and the second time through negotiating with the seller for a partial refund due to the imperfection. I got a $100 off a Chanel wallet once this way because the seller was interested in maintaining good feedback especially since they sold designer items and people are very precautious about past feedback. First I would try to appeal to him about the fact that regardless of photos this is something he should have mentioned in the actual ad as an imperfection. What he has at stake is bad ebay feedback which will hurt future sales and in addition you can mention impact of a negative resolution as discussed on this board from which many bag enthusiasts browse his bags for potential purchase and where bad seller experiences lead to a "blacklist" per se....not only here but also on purseblog. Ebay listings stay up for about 90 days...your listing was older than that and you are just getting the bag?
