Pixiedust - My vote is for the Petrol for sure. That color is amazing and goes with everything. But I could be biased cuz I'm not a green person.

I initially wanted the green, but I got the petrol instead . From my experience,
Petrol goes very well with any colour u have in mind, whether its bright or dark you can pull it off with the petrol . Its very versatile and the colour can be worn in both summer and winter season , plus its stunning = ) I am sure the green and the other colours have their advantages, but if ur looking for something new , attractive and wearable I would recommended the petrol .

Nope, no need to be sad. All four lovelies are still residing in the Greendrv home. I've been swamped with work, but I've been meaning to take an updated Spy Family pic,watermark it, and throw it up for all your viewing pleasure.

In green vs. petrol I 'd go with petrol, I have Petrol and it goes with everything/is a very unique blue but I must ask where have you found a green?! I'd love to get one of those. The Spy is really the only bag (that isn't Hermes) that I'd want in more than one color.

Girls, is the green really *green*? I mean the handles look green but the rest of the bag looks like a tealish green to me, like an ocean-y type green (except for the handles), but maybe that's just the lighting of the pictures I've seen on this thread? Is the petrol a teal blue or a royal blue? I wish I could see these in person before making a decision but no such luck.

Pixie the petrol is more of teal than a royal blue.....Pixie if ur buying it through the net, may I advise you to ask your Tsf members about the authentic marks ( leather, handles etc)...I a no expert but i could tell from pictures...how about u post them and let us be the jugde? I am sorry I just dont want anyone to fall for any fake spies

Green vs. Petrol is a difficult decision, I love the deep green color, but like everyone's said Petrol would go with much more.

My favorite is the striped one, it has such a casual side to it. I just love the the handles are braided leather, it really looks like snake skin to me, but better. It's similar to a DKNY one that Sienna carried a recently.

The peeling is from the inside of the handles. This is how the peeling looks like:

Remember that I had posted some time back of the peeling from the insides of the braided handles?

Well, I promptly went down to the store where I had bought the bag from and the SAs took a pic of the peeling and sent the pics to Fendi Italy. Subsequently, there was no news or updates and when I called to find out the status 3 weeks later, the SA told me that HQ did not reply the email and they send my bag to a local shop to fix it already.

I mean, what's the chances that HQ will ignore this sort of complaints!! Grrrr!

I am thinking should I email and complain directly to Italy? But what is holding me back is that since the HQ ignored the store's email, why should they respond to me, an individual? Also, I am questioning if the store did indeed email Italy about my bag......

After all, as a customer, your satisfaction should be of their utmost priority.

I think you should raise it to the HQ's attention too. I can't imagine why Fendi would react badly, they're huge on PR. Maybe its just one person's mismanagement problem.

I agree with you all re complaining to HQ. The part about not replying to the email for more than 3 weeks is not acceptable.

But just to check, does all the Fendis in different parts of the world have the right to authorise local people to fix/repair their bags? And if this was indeed correct, then why should we pay top dollar to get the Italian famed craftsmen to make the spy?? For all we know, spies could contain a label that says " Made in China" or XXXX whatever country?!

Er, so does anyone has the contacts of Fendi HQ?? TIA

any info will be very helpful as i know nothing about it.. eg. measurements, lining, leather of bag, does it have 'feet' ? or what pockets are inside, etc..
