I thought the conac coour was the brown... are there two different types of brown?

Your welcome pucci. I love the brown in the pic ...I think it's a choc brown. The SA guy try to get me into the store to see the pics of other colours and if I want one I have to put down a cash deposits for AUD$2300.00 for the pleated one. I think it's very expensive and I'm not sure whether I really want to spend that much of money on this bag. I know it's so beautiful.

Yes you're right I should only buy it if I really love it. I will try to drop by the store tomorrow and get some pics. if they allow me to do so. They haven't got any of the real bag otherwise I will take the pic myself.

I saw that too and distinctly remember there being a snake in the picture so I thought the sequined part was snake (which might help explain the price).

who knows? it could just be popularity (which would be sickening). like for example, the gold python is *only* $5,400 but the brown python is nearly $7,000.

I'm not interested in the gold python so I haven't really looked. do you have a Fendi boutique nearby? you can just special order it and (at least according to the SA in Beverly Hills) you can opt to not buy it when it comes in (but you have to do it in person -- if they ship it to you it's yours). since neimans originally carried them they will probably get more (or, people may return them).

The colour the SA here mentioned that it comes in five colours for the pleated version : Blue jeans, Black, Tan, Congac, Choc Brown. If you say that the Congac and the Choc brown is the same then this SA just don't know what he's talking about.

and you are talking about these pleated Spy bags? how much are they (I didn't think they were available). as for blue jean, it's actual denim not blue jean colored leather (too bad).
