That was fast. How do they get them out so fast? From the time they "design" it to production they must start producing them before they real ones ever hit the stores.

The fakes are what has made me lose interest in LV over time. If I have to see one more hideously awful LV fake being carried by some woman who acts like its real, I'm going to rip it off her shoulder and run and burn it in front of everyone in the market place

wow..that's fast.. but i saw the bag that looks like the turtle shell in person today and it looks fabulous!! and you know what? i saw the green one too!! (i haven't gotten mine yet).. and im soo happy! cuz it feels so great and soft.. and the size is perfect!! i didn't tell the SA that i ordered mine in new york.. cuz it's so expensive here in canada (and she kept on persuading me to buy it).. they are selling for around $300USD more than US.. and they only have 2 green ones in the whole canada..(according to what she said..huh:

the color is just so rich..it's still in my head.. the image of the bag is just hahah speechless. if you're a green lover like me.. i'm sure you'll love this green.. and i would definitely still carry the bag 5 years later.. i think it'd lasts... but brown pleated is a good choice too.. really depends if you 1) likes green or brown 2)brown goes with everything, but so does green (in my opinion) 3)adore pleated design or a simply smooth lambskin green 4) own more brown bags or green bags ... yeh that's about it.

Someone from France is selling a Fendi spy on ebay..its the one with all the logos all over it. It could probably be a fake though.

Hi Chicgirl07 - the snake/sequin spy costs approx 3700 euros in France and it was also featured in US Elle magazine (the one with Uma on the cover) and they priced it at $5000USD. The reason I know is that I've caught the Spy bug a bit late and have been sniffing around the Fendi outlets here to see what they have left - and the answer was not much!! The Zucca (logo) medium spys and the Zucca/leather mix versions are still available. If you have the money I think the snake one could still be yours. I finally decided against the Spy as it is just too big for me and for my day-to-day needs - it is however a great bag.

Are you used to very small bags then? Is the small version to big for an everyday bag??

Hi Pucci Mama - the bag is too big for me day-to-day as I don't go out to work and therefore don't have to drag around cart loads of stuff with me all day. Just for reference, it was for this reason also that I chose to get a small 30 cm Birkin as opposed to the more popular 35 cm. I would say that the bag wouldn't look too big or ridiculous on me if I chose to carry it and I'm a thin 5'4 or 5'7 with heels its just that the Spy is really roomy and I don't have loads of stuff to put in it - just purse, makeup bag, keys, mobile and umbrella no organiser or magazines!! - and maybe he would look a bit saggy if too empty!! I have only tried the medium(they call it small) size spy bag not the large. I would say it's as large as the smaller LV Nolita bag if you know what that looks like (or a Marc Jacobs Venetia) and when I carry my Nolita I always have annoying people jokingly asking me if I am going on a trip! For a busy working girl or a mum with lots of kit to cart around the medium spy would make a perfect day bag. In the Fendi concession at Galeries Lafayette I was told this evening that the bag was sold out in the cognac, brown, black and tan across Europe. I think you can still pre-pay for the white/green, white/red and white/black versions which are arriving later this month.

I talked to Fendi London today, and he told me that the bag was not sold out. I am on the waitinglist for the conac and green, but what you say kinda worries me, cuz I am not a girl that carry a lot around me, were talking keys, lipgloss, wallet, mobile..mirror.. hmm.. and thats about it.

still I have a thing for big bags.

And I hate when people ask if I am going on a trip that is just so RUDE..Grrr.

I am very petite like olsen twins size.. and if you think is to big then... ah, well.

Chicgirl07 - Just for reference, the other models with the exception of the crocodile and the python versions are somewhat cheaper than the snake/sequin Spy. The Zucca model is 990 Euros, the Zucca/leather model is 1250, the white/green and white/red 1475 (I think!!) and the white/black 1675 euros. The others - black, brown, green, cognac and tan were (I think!) 1475 euros but are now sold out. These are the prices for Paris, France. I didn't want my previous post to put you off buying the bag. If possible, I think you should try and check them out for yourself and make up your own mind as to whether or not you want to make the purchase. Also unlike other bags, the Spy shape is set to last at least until the end of the Autumn/Winter season. Some of Marc Jacobs' bags for his own and Vuitton's collection echo the shape of the Spy. I have my eye on the quilted bag frame bag with the chain handle that was shown in his own label show.

PucciMama - Don't fret about the size the small/medium size will be fine. It's a great bag - I think you should get it if you like it, you wouldn't regret it. The man at Fendi in galeries lafayette was a bit off! So it's probably correct that they aren't sold out in London - also have you tried the Selfridges concession? WhenI was there last week they had a few Spys on display. P.S. It's always men trying to be funny (not!) who joke about what a small girl with a big bag!!! so annoying!!

I agree with Grill, the first time I saw the Fendi Spy it was so big! Its a ncie bag but not sure if I would get one for myself though.
