okay, if the uploading works...here are some pix of my dark brown Spy!

Beautiful....why did you check out three different dark brown spy bags...if they are all the same colour? does the colour differ from bag to bag?

ok i ordered the blue spy bag..now i have a question...
Is there only one kind of blue i LOVE NICOLE RICHIE'S BLUE one and that's what I want
the sa told me it's like a hologram because it looks blue at some angles and green at others..is this true or is he thinking of another bag?

Nicole Richie has a blue one? I thought hers was green....

I was told the blue I have is called "navy". Maybe this is a Neiman Marcus term and not a Fendi term.

nicole's is the original plain leather in green -- it's not the blue (which I believe is officially called "petrol" but NM calls it "navy" even though it really looks teal) and its definitely not the hologram.

saw another cognac spy today which looked totally different from other ones I've seen. darker and evenly colored, yet not "turtley" like gigi's (which is so gorgeous gigi -- love that dark brown). much closer to the pictures on eluxury and NM sites.

Dulcisima, the 3 different bags I saw were all dark brown, the color does not differ much, but I must say the texture of the leather look quite different for the other two, which were considerably smoother & not as textured. When they SA brought out the 3rd piece, I was like "Wow! this one looks different!"...i thought the texture kinda brings out the character of the bag

hi boymom, yes, the one i bought is the dark brown.
The SA did show me some promo materials they have - The new fall colors are Petrol (teal) and Cherry; & a suede one with Squirrels (which is more expensive about US$3000+, but very nice! ). These are not available yet at the Fendi Boutique I went to, will probably see them in Sep 05.

ok, so I had a horrible fendi spy moment (not to detract from you gigi -- I hope this is an aberration I was using my spy tonight (very gently, I might add) and when I got home, the whole dangly piece was missing. gone. thankfully, I had had it hanging inside the bag so it was in the bag along with the little tiny metal piece precariously holding it onto the bag. I slipped it back in, but without a soldering gun, I am not at all confident that it will stay on. this is ridiculous! it's a $2000+ bag -- can't I at least expect it to not fall apart??

Which dangly piece? The entire woven part right below the pouch? For that amount, the bag should definitely last a few years.

I'm a little late on the trend-- so after calling all the Fendi boutiques in United States-- and getting laughed at-- have realized there are no medium size fendi spy bag anywhere. I have turned to ebay-- am wondering if these two bags are authentic:
