Thanks, meowmix! I guess that's it, the size that I saw most people carried. I'm not sure if it comes with the vanity pouch though. I don't like the smaller size with zipper that comes out this fall.

Lily, personally i wouldn't settle for this I say send it back & point out to them exactly the problems that you mentioned. For $2000+, you shouldn't settle for anything less than perfect.

My Spy dustbag is black. But the bag is actually stored in another huge foam looking bag (white) before they put the whole thing into the black dustbag (hope I'm making sense here). I asked the SA about this & she said it has something to do with preventing color transfer from fabric to the bag (or was it vice versa I cannot remember exactly ). Anyway, I now left the Spy as it is (no dustbag / foam bag) when I'm not using it. I do stuff it a little to keep the shape.

thanks for all the advice ladies and I generally agree with you, but it's one of those things where I'm more annoyed with the idea of the problem than the problem itself. and it's come down to a decision whether I want a spy at all. all of the problems I've had (in addition to the ones I've heard about) make me think it's a poorly made bag and I should just forget it. but I still like it! so assuming I have no other issues with it, the defects don't really bother me that much. we'll see what neiman's has to say . . .

I do think the dustbag was switched. all the spys I've gotten (except the last one which turned out to be defective) came like gigi's: foam envelope and black dustbag. again, no biggie but it bugs me!

I am worried here...i thought they have repaired the defects and the new batches for the fall are defect-free.

Meena, the vanity pouch... well there are probably a dozen things people are calling it... is the little frame pouch in the front that hangs over on the medium and the large sizes. So i think it's safe to say you were asking about the medium size

^ i assume you're referring to the medium sized spy bag with the vanity pouch...? that's the size most people have and that was originally $1970 USD, but they may have raised the price by a small percentage for the fall collections.

They did raise them I think....they now retail for $2,080.

There is a Fendi store its situated on Sloane Street..If your looking for the leather spy bags there are for 1100 GBP and you have to pay in advance to get it. The SA told me that there is a long waiting list for the cognac I am not sure about the other colours. If you want one, i think you should give them a ring and ask them about what they have avalible but they told me that they will start receiving bags on the first week of Septemeber and they will distrubte them to those who paid in advance...

Thanks for the info Dulcisima - I really want one but trying to put it off for a while as I have spent too much money on handbags recently. On the other hand, I am really into instant gratification and have very little will power (when it comes to handbags) so may just give in!

Oh I know what you mean.
The exact same thing happened to me, except that it was with a different bag.
I mean, it's hard to compliment someone on a badly-faked bag without sounding pretentious, especially when you know how the actual bag is suppose to look like, imho.

sooo true, i met a girl i know with a fake balenciaga city in white and it was super shiny and i was carrying my beige one. i knew that her bag was fake ( it was obvious) but i didn t say anything bout her bag. i felt bad for her.

My black Spy is here I already took it out to the hair salon and I got a few compliments, especially from the make up artist, he was droooooling over it

hey, congrats!! you finally got it! how are you liking the color so far in black? i think i'm still feeling buyers regret and haven't used my bag...i know it's too late to return but i still feel like i should have gotten another color or something...

is it just me, or do you(or anyone with the black) think its kinda dressy or can you wear this with anything?
