tekio....I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo SORRY.....its like your spy from hell.... i dont mean the spy...the whole process to get it....I am so sorry u had to live with the whole fendi policy crap and the way that they treated u...making u beleive and trust them that u will be getting ur green spy bag anytime soon!! u should complain to the headquaters!! Because their branch fendi is misrepresnting them!! You should...u might get away with a discount or at least a better treatment!! God oh God oh God...the things we go through for fashion!!! I am sorry again...bu you should seriously consider complaing to Fendi Headquaters 8 months is not a short time...lots of fashion updates happen in 8 months...its like two seasons...wow...i am sorry again...

Thanks for the support, guys! I'm not really sure if complaining to the HQ would do any good cos Fendi is represented by LVMH in my country and almost all the people I know has had a taste of their horrendous service, if that could be called service at all. It is from the Fendi Singapore Branch at Takashimaya. Well, at least we now know that Fendis have bad service across the globe!

I want to save up and get a spy, but i'm not sure what colour/size to get. when i was in Milan I tried a cognac and the arm hole seemed small, but back in England I tried a cherry and the arm hole seemed much bigger!

Are there different sizes? I don't want one too enormous.

For colour I was thinking Black, but if the colour starts to fade will it look awful? Am i better with something like honey?

I won't be getting it till fall/autumn anyway, cuz I just bought a paddy and need to pay off my c/card so if there's any exciting new colours out. please let me know.
I know that's a lot of questions but i would be so grateful for any advice, you guys are pro's!

teiko - What an awful experience you had. You must be so happy to finally have your baby! At least you will appreciate it so much more now.

HYZE - The only different sizes were the small and the large (which is not made anymore). The large one was riduclously large so I am pretty sure you didn't try that one on, since you said you don't want one that is too enormous! The bags are handmade so sometimes there are slight variations in size (?), but none so very noticeable. I haven't heard anything about the black fading...but I have the Honey and I just love it. It goes with so much more than I thought!

Anyhow, we don't know anything about F/W colors yet, but since you won't be buying one until then, maybe some new gorgeous colors will be coming out. I really can't wait! I am trying to hold off on buying a Paddington cry...at least until we know what Spy colors there will be!

Spy Handles

I've seen the satchel, it wasn't that. They were the same style, but the arm-holes were different! weird, huh?

HYZE: When the Spy first comes out of its packaging and is truly *brand* new, the clearance on the handles looks really small -- like you could never get it onyour shoulder. Once the bag is touched (and especially carried with weight in it) the handles stretch a LOT, and they begin to look how you're used to seeing them.

The same thing happened to me when I first saw my black one at Bloomies. The handles looked much smaller than normal. Within a few wears, they were "normal". Hope this helps!

The handles stretch? oh my god. I put a lot of stuff in my bags, would i end up with super long handles?

no no, but there might be a little give (though i carry a lot in mine and haven't noticed any). another possibility is that the bags were just different. i've people who have multiple spys that are supposed to be the same size mention that the shapes are different -- some are longer than others. since the bags are handmade there is bound to be some variation, but i think fendi has quality control issues.

ok. That i can deal with! This will be the most money i've spent on a single thing, (Except my car, You know what I mean) So I want to get it totally perfect. does anyone have any recommendations for colour? it needs to go with a LOT!
