Flip Flops

Thanks

I dont think I've ever heard of Havaianas. Do you have a picture?

Hello, my name is Erin and I am a flip-flop-holic. A couple of weeks ago I was feeling down for no good reason, so here's how I dealt:

I bought flip-flops. The same pair. In three different colors.

My collection is probably upwards of 20 pairs. Bear in mind that more often than not it is just not warm enough for them. But the second that frostbite is not a concern, I'm in flip-flops.

Hello Erin

I am also and addict. The first pair I posted came in orange and blue and pink. They were a bit price so I just got the Lime and orange

At old navy on the other hand they only cost 14$ So I bought a pair in each color. Green, Black, Browm, Pink, Beige and silver and white

I just love them so much

One thing!! never buy JCrew flippies... I was wearing them all the time this weekend, and let me tell you, I don't think you should be wearing flippies to NYC... esp if ur walking all over the place... I had to go to different restaurants to wash my feet, it was disgusting...also, they're unconfortable...hah

sometimes i make the clacking sounds to piss people off or when i'm having a bad day :ninja: and other times i have my headphones on so i don't hear anything

i hardly ever wear flip flops but i'm in l.a. right now so i'm wearing them everyday.

Everywhere i go everyone is wearing them. What gives, Its like none can afford nice shoes. A guy at work was wearing them with dress pants and a dress shirt.

well I think they are lemme see... Affordable and useful But I wanna start wearing more comfy sandals in the summer like leather flats! They just look nicer! But I don't mind wearing flips around the house!

I live in my brown flip flops, my mom hates it shes always telling me to put on nicer shoes. But nothing is more comfortable...they're so easy to slip on and get out the door. But then again CA weather and lifestyle is very conducive to the wearing of flip flops.

I don't get it. I've always thought they're terribly uncomfortable. No support whatsoever; they just feel awful to me. Plus, I think they look bad.

thong sandals are very "in" now and effuse effortlessness more than other summer shoes...and they're not necessarily cheap. in my neck of the woods, i see all the boys bouncing around in four hundred dollar prada leather ones with the triangle.

They're appeal to me is that they're totally blah - you don't have to think if they look good or bad because they look neither...when I wear a pair it's just like something in the outfit I don't have to think about.

I used to really like them for the comfort/ease, but I haven't worn them out of the house this summer. I guess I'm not into them anymore, but I really like them on guys :flower:

Flip flops are just comfortable and go with everything.

What is funny to me is that I've only been hearing about them in the past two years and I've been seeing people refer to them as a TREND. Like, I'll see flip flops listed in "What trends are you sick of?" polls. I don't understand how people can think they're a trend. I've worn flip flops since I was 6 years old and for summer, they're all I wear. My family and friends are all the same. Collectively, we've probably gone through 182 pairs of Rainbows over the years. :P

I think they're a must-have when you're feeling lazy or getting a pedicure, but otherwise I'd have to admit they're not the greatest footwear available. Definitely a casual comfort kind of thing.

i like flip flops cuz they are soo easy to put on and i can wear themm on my grubby days :P
