this is def interesting! kinda reminds me of like how like ages ago in NYtimes said that for models the slouch is the new pose. so now the slouch is kinda incorporated into the clothes. looks cool but not sure how itd translate IRL. you'd prolly have to be pretty flat in the front o/w you'd just end u looking like you have 2 sets of boobs! -___-

practically, i feel like this would just look horrible on anyone. the only way i can see it working off the runway is possibly in a jacket. but on the runway, it's creating a very different and unique effect.

^ here it is as a dress.. i find it gorgeous, a great unexpected detail to add to a garment
there was also a model with a hackle (feather hat) in a long grey dress.. and there were gathers at the back that went down all the way to her calves, instead of just at her waist like these.. sooo nice but it was hard to screencapture from the video

I really want something with this detail (a jacket would be nice). I especially like it since I cut my hair recently from super long to a just above the shoulder bob so now I can show off back details.

This is beautiful. I have a 'floating back' shirt although it's not as dramatic as Balenciaga.

I have yet to see any examples of this in stores. At least not the turtle shell back style that I was looking for.
