Crap.. I'm screwed.. long skirts are WAAAAY too long on me.. it's bad enough that when I buy a knee length skirt, on me it turns out to be an ankle length skirt.
I have to say, though, that quite a handfull of fashion trends/looks are catered toward model-proportioned women, and this is one that I feel to be right up there with skinny pants. I would look absolutely goofy in a floor-length skirt, but I do adore the look.
^ Totally agree with you Erin. And also, they aren't really convenient for every day life, unless of course you're some princess who doesn't really need to do much walking around.......
I would have so much trouble walking for example to school, with such a LONG skirt..!
haha.....
another one of my 'trademark' looks...
love long skirts with movement.........
**even if you are not a princess...
it certainly makes you feel like one...
...
i think it may grab hold this time since everyone was wearing those tiered boho 'gypsy' skirts for s/s 0...those were floor length...
so this could be an extension of that...
best worn with boots... or flats...
I love long skirts when they're cut nicely (flare a bit at the bottom...but not so you look like a bell) but absolutely detested gypsy skirts....the tiers just detract from the flowing elegant line.
Can someone 160cm tall wear these? I have a long black silk skirt from Ann Dem which isn't too bad in summer, but I saw a beautiful wool one by isabel Marant, but I tried it on and looked 60 instantly,so I guess the answer is "no".
