Footless Tights

ItsTheKids said:
EVERYONE I go to school with wears those damn tights. it was kind of cool at first, when only some of the more quirky/fashionable people wore them. now the people who are painfully trendy wear them...that's when you know a trend has died. cut off tights, off the shoulder shirts/sweaters, ugg boots, and big plastic earings all have been worn to death at my school. happy to say i've never sported the tights. :P

Same. I actually decided to count the number of girls in school I saw with this look on Friday and came up with the grand total of ... 25! Wow, is all I can say. They all looked exactly the same. Leggings and miniskirt, boring.

^ How original.... I think footless tights are simply a cheaper version of the already trendy legging..!

Both are starting to bore me out a lot.

Meh I'm so over it.

I did it last summer but with patterned tights so that I looked slightly different from those doing it with normal tights haha.

I don't mind ruched leggings though a la Mary Kate.

I live in NY, anyone have any idea where I can get a decent pair of black ones?

The ones from Urban Outfitters are too sheer for my taste, I want something opaque, like a pair of black leggings or something so I have a new excuse to buy a pair of nice pumps.

I just brought a black footless pair with lace edging from Metalicus

This thread is about footless tights.

Please post accordingly and stay on topic.

Totakeke, Express sells black capri length leggings and tights they have plain and patterend ones too. Good Luck!

They were wonderful before Abercrombie stole them. I just sent Abercrombie a... quite... lovely "comment" on their website about "their" tights. So creative, Abercrombie... so creative.

I wanted to gag when I saw this nine year old girl wearing them with a blue jean miniskirt at church the other day.

I really love them, but they're so popular. Especially black. Then brown.

Because I love them, I will continue wearing mine, but NO mini skirts please for me, unless I can make the outfit look more original then Abercrombie-style. And I'll also really limit my use of the black ones... and kind of cut down on the brown ones, but not so much.

That leaves white and light gray left.

Oh and GREAT news!!!! Delia's started selling them too! :yuk:

Bazaarlover, I wore that SAME thing a couple of weeks ago, except my tights were brown. :D Is it from Urban Outfitters?

I come back to school and this trend is HUGE. Every girl now wears their Holister/ AF mini skirts with this whole look. It's just plain boring.

I started wearing this look not this past September, but the one before it, and dabbled in it this summer, but am getting over it-- I still like how it looks but it allures me less when everyone is doing it.

I like the look - but I started wearing it last January, so naturally I got tired of it.

I really do like how it looks with dresses. And under shorts (not the super short ones).

seriously?

Come ON!

What is the average age on this website? 13? come on.
I cannot believe you are even discussing this topic. I have to sign out from thefashionspot and never return again. This is embarrassing and shameful.
