oh, but I have. here in northeastern USA, where the temperatures were around 35 degrees F, a girl came into my catholic school on a day we were allowed to wear regular clothes (as opposed to uniforms) wearing an abercrombie outfit consisting of long sleeved striped tee shirt, black leggings/footless tights/whatever the heck you want to call them, and a denim miniskirt with massive bronze medallion things (like the kind from the belts of summer '05) attached to the bottom of it. and flip flops. it could have been snowing outside.DriversHigh said:![]()
You just all just be glad that you haven't seen them paired with flip flops...
the thing that is worst is that this girl was fawned over for her "creative" outfit and she even won the vote for "best dressed in the senior class" the next day. people in my area would not know true style if it attacked them with very sharp teeth.
the black leggings/footless tights/whatever the heck you want to call them trend is perhaps one of the most disgusting trends i have ever witnessed. i knew it would be big when all the young hollywood gals (thanks, rachel zoe) started doing it last summer, and have been cringing since. i wonder if i can just dig a hole in hide in it until summer '06 is over so i don't have to constantly view this vile, hideous, tackier than anything look, because I know it's going to explode. i think i would rather see every other girl wearing a see-through peasant skirt and tank top again. and that's saying A LOT.
