Footless Tights

I bought a pair of footless tights in pink candy! Any recs how to wear them??

I have seen that the quality of leggings really do vary, I want some lehggings I can use as pants, any recommedations?

What about falke footles tights anyone tried them??

Try some of the smaller fashion stores. I have seen them in private smaller stores in strip malls. Try on line also. there are plenty of stores. American Eagle Outfitter, Target, Maybe Ambercrombe or Hollister. May Co / Macys.

Get your leggings at American Apparel. They have many styles/fabrics,/cuts and are by far THE BEST!

For tights and legigngs of many styles: Target, American Eagle Outfittler, American Apparel, UrbanOutfitters.com, welovecolors.com, foottraffic, Ambercrombe & Fitch. Do a net search: leggings, footless tights, tights. There should be plenty of options. For guys: Welovecolors.com, foottraffic.com, activskin.com. American eagle outfitter and American Apparal and Urban Outfitters might be ok. American Eagle ouitfitter may still have them. Look for cotton leggings or cotton footless tights at Target.

Other places for fottless tights and footed tights are Foottraffic.com and Sock-dreams.com. Sock-dreams has cotton footless thick EG Smith tights, very good cotton quality. Foottraffic has heavy cotton tights. URbanoutfitterws.com has many colors and styles of tights. American Eagle had some around Christmas, they may still have them. Welovecolors.com has many colors to chose from too, both footed and footless nylon. ALso for men. American Appearal has leggings in many colors. Mytights.com has many styles, patterns, and colors of nylon footless tights: including crochete, pattern, lace and other styles. I've been wearing footless tights now for a few months and every time I do I can hear the girls from gofugyourself.com cursing at me for my fashion faux pas.

I just wanted to ask though, have footless tight wearers now moved on to wearing them at the ankles, rather than mid-calf? Has mid-calf now become horrendously unfashionable or am I just noticing more girls wearing them down to their ankles?

Please enlighten me.

Usually I wear longer one when I want to stay warmer. If it's more a question of covering my but I wear short cropped ones. I generally wear leggings when I only want to wear a tunic length top and I don't want to wear pants with it. Or if I want to wear a short dress and I don't want to wear tights (open toe shoes maybe?) or bare legs (either too cold or inappropriate at work and school).

I've been meaning to ask the very same question. The only difference is I'm asking from the perspective of an Australian shopper (Sydney specifically). Where in Sydney could I get good quality leggings (that are also thick and warm enough to be worn as pants) that is at an appropriate price (there's no way I'm forking out alot of $$ just for leggings)?

You should be able to do a search online. ALso try the Victoria Bldg downtown. They may have them. I recall having them there on the lower level.

Here in the USA I have found them from doing a search online "leggings" or "footless tights" and have just searched several sites. Foottraffic.com, Sock-dreams.com may have UK related site. Keep searching. Calvin Klien, Marni, and Adam Kimmel will hope to have line out in Fall. Then again, they say it but it hasnt reached here since the leggings are for men. See the referenced picture in message #148 under this "footless tights" thread.

i've been wearing them awhile... before the became an ABSOLUTE NECESSITY according to cosmogirl, seventeen, teen vogue, etc. and of course after the eighties. hah. so somewhere between when the trend was just flying under the radar. i don't know. i think it depends on how you wear it. some girls wear it in a too trendy way, which is hard for me to explain. or maybe it just looks trendy because you know they're wearing it because they saw it in a magazine and not because it matches their personality. does that make sense? like the trend is wearing them. hah. idk. leggings have become a staple for me. i know a lot of people prefer ankle length. i haven't decided which one i like best. ankle or mid-calf.

I like this style but it seems no to favour women with hour glass shapes (particularly if your legs or thighs are thick).
