Frida Giannini Expecting First Child *Update* Gave Birth to a Girl

I can't believe I've only just noticed she's pregnant, it was announced back in November 2012 that she was expecting.

GUCCI creative director Frida Giannini and her partner, the label's president and CEO, Patrizio Di Marco are expecting their first child.

The designer will take her bow at the brand's men's and women's shows in January and February, before taking maternity leave until the next men's show in June - WWD reports. No other details about the pregnancy have been released. The pair first started dating in June 2009 and confirmed their relationship in 2011.

"The relationship Frida and I have is very serious," said Di Marco in 2011. "When in life, you choose someone to be with - someone you are looking to spend your life with - well, this is a match of minds and souls. We don't agree on everything. But you only really argue when you have something important to argue about. Otherwise you realise it's not worth it."

On Saturday, just eleven days after taking her bow at Gucci’s Fall 2013 show in Milan, creative director Frida Giannini and her husband, Gucci CEO Patrizio di Marco, welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Greta, into the world. We see lots of Gucci Baby in little Greta’s future.
