Ah, sorry for the triple post. I can't edit cause it's passed 10 minutes. Because the jacket is awesome, I went to check out the very first Gareth Pugh picture again and compared it to your friend's picture.
On Gareth, it looked very cropped. The length was shorter, the sleeves were shorter but on your friend the size looks normal. What's the true sizing like?

on Gareth it is more cropped because he is very tall but on a girl who is around my/my friend's height (about 5'6"-5'7"), it is not as cropped.. but also not like a full length blazer. and the sleeves look normal length. it fits nicely 
for more info on the jacket, it is constructed really well and it's basically like a fitted blazer with the triangles sewn on to the outside. the lining on the inside consists of two fabrics... the patterned one as you can see in the pics and on the inside of the sleeve, it's a more sleek fabric (there is no tag which lists the materials or else I'd be more specific).
and about the triangles, they are pretty hard and pointy, a real contrast from the fabric. because of how they're placed, they don't interfere with the functionality of the jacket itself.

btw... I hear they still have some at Dover Street Market, but like most of their stock it doesn't show up on the site. Perhaps you could call and see if someone could help.. maybe a phone order? but I'm not sure of their policies.. worth a try though
