Geek Glasses

It looks good on you Dija, it looks so American Apparel...

I think those geek glasses are gonna come in more different shapes and colours.
Beocz now D&G remain the black frames, but if you have a look around London town and around, there are lots of people with purple or other colours even rainbow :O :D and some with those "Harry Potter" glasses.

Element of uniqueness :P

i'm usually not into trends/etc which aren't functional and rather silly but i like these...on men.

You know, I do like the geek glasses trend. I think they can be very fashionable and accentuate a face, as long as you have the right pair for your face. I have some leopard print frames! They are subtle, but cute.

^i agree with you dianochka! as long as you can pull it off it's fine, but some people just can't

Chic Geek?

I have some geek glasses...kinda like the black ones everyone wears but red gradient...They are by Chanel with jet crystals on the side...Love them BUT the crystals are falling out LOL...I also just purchased some Maison Martin Margeila L' Incognito (Sci-FI) sunglasses... I'll post them when they get here.

Does anyone know where I can get glasses like this for really cheap that is not ebay? thank you :flower:

Oh my! I'm a big fan of geeky looking glasses. Lol. At first, I just wanted them because it's bigger. But now, I'm so inlove with them. Hahahaha!

I don't know if it's considered geek glasses though. Any thoughts? :innocent:

I think they are cute -- provided that whoever wears them dresses sexy/chic as opposed to dressing like a child.

I don't think you should wear glasses unless you need to. Then again I would say that because I have to wear them every day weather I want to or not. Took off my (prescription) sunglasses in Nero today and almost fell over as I couldn't see anything!

Exactly! Usually, I'm really not a fan of such global trends. Though, worn by men geek glasses can defenitely look very nice! On a girl/ woman? Non -_- They always look stupid and more like "oh, look at me"-attention-seeking-like.

Dija You look super hot in them

but im not such a huge fan of geeky glasses not everyone can pull it off:rolleyes: i dont think it will look good on me ill just look dope

Are geek glasses more shape than frame? :huh? I would like a nice pair, but a thick frame would swallow my whole face up what with my bangs too.

They can be about both, I guess- go for it anyway (so says a thick-fringed fat-frame wearer)- it can work if you don't let the rest of your hair in your face a lot, I think. I've loved the look ever since I saw Marilyn Monroe in How to Marry A Millionaire, and the cat-eyed frames she has in that movie are my (glasses-wise) Holy Grail, and that was just before I got to ninth grade and found that I had to get glasses.

And in my case, if I don't get thick-framed glasses, I break them (drop them, sit on them, but stacks of books on them) so it's really not about fashion at all- it's a necessity!

Ugh. I hate this look. I had to wear those glasses (BCs) in boot camp. Lemme just tell you we called them Birth Control glasses for a reason.
