:D Thanks! ;)

p.s.
I can't really reply, mate...all my favourite dishes are from italian cuisine, and I don't think you'd like being called "fragrant bowl of penne with pesto sauce" or "thin and golden milanese steak"...

I'd appreciate the thin part

^you two are so sweet together..
hmmm...what do i have to say about gemma
today??? i don't know....
do you think she had trouble at school because of her weird looks?
i mean i heard gisele was really mocked because she was really thin...
and that's because she is very conventional looking...
it's kinda funny to see how gisele is considered so sexy now...
i was just wondering about gemma and the other girls...
anyone knows anything?

I'm on the Vogue Australia boards (or some other Vogue boards), someone who was in the same year as Gemma in her school said that the teacher let her get away with lots of stuff and that she's apparently not graceful at all (But com'on, she was 15 at the time?! How many graceful 15 year-old teenagers do you know?)

:D ^_^ Thanks to the Net that levels our age gap (as I'm a dinosaur, almost 32! :p )

Our aussie friends will probably know more ;) ..only thing I can say, is that I saw an interview where she said that she was kinda missing school, as she had always been very good at that...^_^

Well, as a matetr of fact quite few models I can think of already looked great (and definitely older than their age!) even at 15...:p
But then again, I wonder how reliable are some of those Net-gossips...I mean, everybody can say "I've been in school with her, she's so and so...", but that doesn't mean it's true...;)

hmm...Gemma seems like a very graceful person to me and from everyone that has worked with her they have always said she was delightful to work with.

i have always wondered as well if she was mocked at school. i mean, i think shes BEAUTIFUL, but a lot of my friends think she is horrible looking. and sometimes i think that perhaps in person she would be strange with her features. hm..i really am curious about what her peers and guys thought of her!

I don't think these have been posted before...backstage pics from Helmut Lang f/w '04:

yeah! a lot of my friends think she's not pretty and stuff. but then they think a lot of models ain't pretty...so yeah

you have to understand that someone who is exposed to fashion as much as some of us here is more open to different "looks". the average crowd (as sad as it is) will always be hung up on: the word "supermodel", all-american faces, thick makeup, and thick bodies.:innocent:

i don't know who the bay guy is, me or them

psh, we arent the bad guys.. ^_^
yes i agree. many people enjoy the conventional beauty. which is why im thinking teenagers at school may(or maybe not) think she was weird looking.

you're right, we aren't the bad guys! furthermore, i feel bad for those ingoramuses. it is ignorant to be saying the most cliche things about models!

go us, go!:boxer:
