:D ^_^ Thanks to the Net that levels our age gap (as I'm a dinosaur, almost 32! :p )

well i don't think taste in models is particularly important for any person...
that doesn't like fashion, aka the average crowd...i seriously think they don't really care about it...;) and it's not really that important...
anyways what do we have agaisnt common beauties...?
i mean it's a bit boring sometimes...but i don't really mind
there are so many conventional girsl that i like..
most movies that i watch i find only classic beauties and
normal looking people and i simply don't mind...
they are still pretty....not everything has to be weird...:flower:
although i'm really attracted to weird faces....
but think about it...

you have to understand that someone who is exposed to fashion as much as some of us here is more open to different "looks". the average crowd (as sad as it is) will always be hung up on: the word "supermodel", all-american faces, thick makeup, and thick bodies.:innocent:

You're ABSOLUTELY right! ;)

i don't know who the bay guy is, me or them

I'd tend to say neither, but thinking about it a lil' bit more, I must admit I got this feeling that the taste of the masses is more eterodirected than ours.
I mean that we fashionistas get to see hundreds of models, with lot of different looks, as you said, so that our eyes develop a sort of "beauty expertise", if you get what I mean. While the vast majority of people just tend to take for granted what the most popular media SAY it's beauty (like, "if it's in last Maxim calendar, or at the movies, then it "must" be beauty").
Therefore, WE are the goodfellas...:p

I'm not sure that it's a question of "classic beauty" vs. "weird beauty"...I mean, there are many models with a classic beauty, that anyway are totally unknown to the masses...As I said, I agree with Pastry, imho it's more a matter of
us being exposed to more types of beauty (i.e., Magdalena Wrobel and Vlada Roslyakova are definitely quite different one from the other, but for my "fashionista's" eyes, they're both very beautiful, each in her own way of course), while masses usually manage to see/know just a bunch of names from the telly or movie theatres...

:flower:

^we are off topic again :p
i'm just saying that those people don't care about their concept of beauty...
the average crowd has other issues to care about
most of them can't even afford to see the alternate vision
of beauty...and it isn't important...they have more things in their life to care about...:flower:

Some more "old" pics I haven't seen here before (except one of the first "smiles"...:p ):
