I have to agree with most of you.
Though I love fur and wear it....this is quite disturbing....I think it's the stripe that brings the fur back into the context of being a real animal....kind of like those fur "scarves(??)" that have the head attached to it.
PrinceofCats - In answer to your question - I prefer Faux fur to the real thing. I think as i have grown up, i discovered that i did not like the thought of wearing real fur, the fact that an animal was killed simply to create some type of garment or handbag. I know its hypocritical because i wear leather and eat red meat, but carrying around an Aligator/crocodile or any other species (that dont need to be sacrificed) just does NOT APPEAL to me and never will.
4-5 years ago my lovely husband bought me an expensive huge fur coat and i was horrified at first, and said i would not wear it. I checked out the lining and details and it was a faux fur, which looks like a mink. I wore it during my pregnancies and that coat was a life saver. it kept me warm during those cold chilly winter evenings and mornings on the way to work in London. People of a certain age group would give me the filthiest of looks, rich old ladies turning up their noses. i only realised why when i went out with my husband and was still getting the filthy looks. People thought it was a real fur coat.but i knew the truth. So there you go, Faux fur can look real. BEAUTY AND COMFORT WITHOUT THE CRUELTY - thats my motto
I think saddle blags will be the next played-out trend. Plus, I dont really like that much gold-accenting, unless most of your accessories are gold, it could get tricky.
I'm not a fan of the Saddle bags, I have a black logo double saddle bag which is sort of an "unwanted" gift
but I love this one a lot.
just love how the sleek black leather combines with the shape of the bag
Very cute I like saddle bags a lot. The gold accenting is nice, but you do have to watch out for your accessories. Gold is hot this spring/summer though I remember someone saying?
It's okay... simple, chic, classic. I preferred the Dior logo saddle bags, though. This one.. I don't know, there's just something about it that dosen't shag me.
I agree with SoCalledPrep... I think the logos actually work better with these saddle bags. I don't like the way the leather looks and I don't like the gold hardware with this. I have a black nylon one from way back with silver hardware and they work well together... but I don't like this leather.
