GISELE BUNDCHEN AND EDWARD NORTON KICK OFF THE UNITED NATIONS MDG SUMMIT
It was a union of dogooders as Gisele Bundchen and Edward Norton attended the 2010 United Nations MDG Summit kick off at American Museum of Natural History in New York City today (September 20).

The sexy supermodel and the hunky actor were on hand to celebrate the work of indigenous groups in the preservation of nature and support of biodiversity.

Chaired by the head of the UN Program for Development Helen Clark, the event honored some 25 grassroots groups that work in some of the poorest countries in the world.

Among the winners this year were projects to protect biodiversity in Cambodia, Kenya and Ecuador.

Gisele is a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Environment Programme while Edward is a UN Goodwill Ambassador for Bioderversity.
