Givenchy F/W 14.15 Paris

^^ literally my favorite feature/looks, loved how he mixed elegance with a modern twist to some of these looks, it still has riccardo written on it.. i do agree that it kinda resembles mcqueen in some sorts but overall i am glad he put the people ready to dismiss him away. my top 3 in paris collections right now.

Those geometrical strips of fabric look like they belong on an elementary art project, really do not get their dispersion throughout the collection

Still found a lot to love here though.

this was literally one of the first fashion collections in a long time that made me sit up and take notice. I am in love with everything! I have no problems with it, the shapes are gorgeous, I love the fluttery printed dresses, the high waisted trousers, the furs  I could go on and on. My faith in fashion has been slightly restored, thank you Ricardo :applause:

Some of the looks reminds me of Fall 2009 Balenciaga and those blocks look like an afterthought, but the butterfly prints are nice though.

A similar premise was executed much better by the Michael Kors FW collection -- the floaty dresses, the furs, belts prints.etc.

Really loving this mixture of Tisci's earlier work at Givenchy merged with the now. The graphic pockets from his menswear fused in gave it that present feeling, but without it feeling too dark or austere. It actually feels kinda sorta Parisian, which afterall, it is!

I dislike some of the prints, those bolded contrast pockets on the trousers (very unflattering), and some of the skirt cuts, but there are some great jackets and dresses in this collection. It's good but it doesn't "wow" me.

Absolutely gorgeous and amazing collection! I'm in love with every outfit, every piece, every detail. Bravo! Even model's make-up is flawless. It's just a heaven.

I think this is the only show where designer puts on nude bras under sheer dresses. Lovely, elegant but at the same time with great modern details. I really like the idea of this kind of makeup with eyes "pined" back. Went perfect with clothes. :)

Beautiful! It finally has the "Parisian" feel again. It even has the feeling of old Givenchy (i.e. Hepburn). I hope that he continues in this direction.
