Givenchy F/W 2025.26 by Collier Schorr

What would you have decided Vittoria should take a break from? Photos from an already questionable campaign? The photos with other models aren't any better, let's be honest. I don't think like you and luckily neither does a good part of the industry apparently. On the catwalk, she has charisma and poise like few others; in print, she may not be the best, but she still stands out from the others.

When Mariacarla was in EVERY campaign a few years ago, many asked her to take a break... Vittoria and Liu could do the same!
Agreed. The Liu resurgence over the past few years still blows my mind, but yet most thing in fashion during recent years has confused me, so hey.

Dismissing a model simply because you feel “overexposed” is mistaking personal fatigue for industry judgment. Campaign casting isn’t dictated by internet boredom, it’s brands investing millions and choosing the faces who deliver. Liu Wen keeps getting booked not by chance but because she delivers every time. Her resurgence isn’t hype, it’s hard evidence of her value. If you call that “overexposure”, you’re not exposing her, you’re exposing your ignorance of what fashion actually runs on: results.

Just curious as to why? Do you not like her as a model?

It’s an opinion, just like many on this forum possess. She’s never been my cup of tea, and that’s fine. You’re a fan, and that’s fine too. Regardless she’s being booked and life will go on, but I’ve never been a fan, just the same as I’m sure you have models you probably never warmed up too. There’s nothing ignorant about that, just a matter of preference.

Personally I’ve never been a fan. I’ve always found her look boring and not interesting. I think she’s formidable, but she’s never stood out to me.

Wow they really picked the worst looks from the collection. The focus should be 100% on tailoring and bags and yet we see that hideous compact minidress and the gaudy oversized crystals top.
Flop.

what are the random shots of eva herzigova theyve been posting for? i thought that was their ad campaign

Lucia Peroni's photo is the only good one. She is a beautiful woman and looks incredibly charming.
This campaign makes no sense.

Collier Schorr's photography never appeals to me and this campaign is no exception.

Some of the black and white shots merge with my memory of the recent Bottega Craft is our Language campaign, probably the combo of B+W, clinical shots and hand gestures.
Anyway, now is the period most ever in fashion that the public and customer are drawn to buying into the community of whichever brand is showing their world building, and here Givenchy is showing nothing.

She's in some sort of limbo between Phoebe and Alaia inspirations, but neither brand customer would touch this..
