Givenchy Mens S/S 10 Paris

A lot better now seeing the full thing. The star studded things are still the ugly as can, but it's not so bad anymore.:ninja:
I really love the first few black & white outfits in the beginning of the the show.
The sandals are truly amazing, but I don't think I would have ever paired them with socks..:ermm:
I love how Riccardo is still pushing the whole leggings thing.:shifty::heart:

The shirt with the geometric shape on it just killed me. I want it so bad.

Im still trying to understand the hooded pieces and the meaning of those stars.....

White pants

Breath Taking, I love every piece of this collection, very mature and strong.

I'm sold on all of the crisp, gimmick free b&w stuff. That white shirt with the angular black inset is tdf. The man knows how to make wonderful shirts/blouses, I must say that.

The whole of the second half is just useless to me. Nobody but the deperately trendy boys who treat fashionable dressing like a competitive sport would wear some of those things, and the styling is just kind of...wrong.

He's managed to shed the gimmicks from his womenswear and still ends up producing dynamic clothes, I'm hoping he'll do the same for men because just like with last season there are some really amazing pieces to be found amongst the gimmicks.

I like about 70% percent of it. Mostly the black and white looks, but I also kind of like the tartan pieces with the gold studs (though they remind me quite of bit of Galliano's Siouxsie Sioux/ Cleopatra show back in the 90's).

i love the plaid shirt with the studs
it would make me feel so in charge wearing it lol
this is a great collection and so much diversity too i love it

Absolutely loved the white shirt with black geometric detailing.

It feels disjointed and uneven to me, though the Arabian nights theme shines through. Some amazing pieces in there, esp the black and white looks and the rounded shoulder jackets; and other dated, over-saturated stuff that I don't really care for, such as the star emblazoned garments. It reminds me of Alexander McQueen debut menswear collection at first glance.

I don't hate it, but don't love it either

the plaid thing is kinda tacky but i really like this colllection

I love Givenchy! I love the golds and the blacks! so expensive!

i like the suit with the collarless shirt but wouldnt wear many of the urban pieces

I really love most of the collection. Would do without the red and checked pieces, but everything looks great.

Some of the early looks are interesting, but still a little schizophrenic. What's going on with the star-crotch bermuda?

^not sure we are allowed to talk about politics onto here.
karmaed you then ...

and after first reaction - though i'm still not into it at all - i think the styling did shock me a lot !

i guess you're right about the urban medieval because of this NewEra caps with gold thing etc. and it's indeed very urban ...

but seriously the pattern mix look toooo NEW to me, I guess....

very sk8ter meets politics ...

skater? HELL NO! i know skatewear and this doesn't look anything like it

After seeing the full collection, l must say l quite like it! There are pieces chich l dont care for like the red, much prefere black and white, the trousers in this collection are tdf, l really like them and will be my purchase for that season!!!;)
