Glee

This show is my guilty pleasure. I love it :ninja: Sue Syolvester is definitely among my favourite fictional characters. Everything she says is just

Just finished watching the 10th episode of the 2nd season and I can't wait for a new one! Btw, I'm super happy to know Anne Hathaway will guest-star :buzz:

The cast seems to get along so well, it's awesome to watch:

songs of the Valentines ("Valentines-y") episode

Katy Perry’s “Firework,” performed by Rachel
Queen’s “Fat Bottomed Girls,” performed by Puck
Michael Jackson’s “P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing),” performed by Artie
Babes In Arms’ “My Funny Valentine,” performed by Tina
Robin Thicke’s “When I Get You Alone,” performed by Blaine and the Warblers
And of course, Paul McCartney’s “Silly Love Songs,” performed by The Warblers

and Kurt and Blaine will be on the cover of EW

Rachel and Mercedes are going to sing Take me or leave me from the Musical Rent I am officially dead. (in a good way)

'Glee': A major New Directions couple will break up

We’re only a few weeks away from Glee‘s ginormous, post-Super Bowl episode airing Feb. 6, but, here at EW, we’re already thinking about the rest of season 2. There’s been a slew of fresh romances this season — Tina & Mike, Sam & Quinn, Artie & Brittany — but EW can exclusively reveal that one of those couples will be biting the dust soon. SPOILER ALERT!

The pair that will be joining Rachel and Finn as the latest New Directions exes are the show’s resident hot blonds, Sam and Quinn. Says co-creator Ryan Murphy, “I got bored. They were too perfect.” But that doesn’t mean that Sam will be on his own. “He starts dating Santana,” says Murphy. “He needs a little salsa spice.”

Murphy adds that Quinn will also find comfort in the form of her old boyfriend, Finn.
Shocking!

^why do they always have to date each other? :yuk:
but i'm glad quinn and sam will be over soon. sam is such an awful character anyways, don't know why we need him (or that ugly fatty)

^ agreed, hes just boring and inconsistent.

Those photos of darren and chris, well, blaine and kurt, makes my heart melt, oh my god.

I like those navy and red blazers  These two would make a cute couple. I just hope they've a drama-free relationship -_-

i'm excited to hear the new songs, but good god i dont like that new couple spoiler. its like everyone is gonna date each other eventually

Awww..... Kurt and Blaine.... so cute! Just out of curiosity, I was wondering if Darren was gay or straight? And if he is straight I wonder how he feels about playing a gay character?

^he's straight, he has a few "gay-ish" mannerisms though. he grew up in San Francisco and around many gays, so he's very comfortable with his (and any other) sexuality...some interviews where he talks about it

KATIE MENDELSON: Was there any trepidation on your part about taking on the role of a gay character, or concern about being pigeonholed after moving on from Glee?

DARREN CRISS: Not at all. To be quite honest, that doesn't take up a huge chunk of what really matters about Blaine. After having gotten to know the show a little bit, I was really excited to see that a character like this—such a strong gay character, especially a young, male, out-and-proud teen—was going to make its way onto network television, much less Fox. This is the first time I'd really seen an out student that was so young and innocent and really struggling with the big ordeal that it is to be an out student at such an early age. When other shows present the gay character thing, it's typically been in much more adult situations, like gay men living in New York or closeted men who are married and struggling with that ordeal, but never really the core of the journey of defining your sexuality. Blaine offers a beautiful counter to that and makes such a great addition to the many-colored palette that is Glee. So as far as me having any reservations about it, no. I read it being like, this would be so cool, whoever gets to play this, it's going to be a great thing for an already great show.

MENDELSON: He seems like he has the potential to have such a positive influence.

CRISS: Absolutely. Of course, being gay really is an important part of who he is. But Blaine doesn't really think so—at least in this utopian society that he lives in [LAUGHS], at Dalton Academy, where it's almost a little too perfect to be anybody or anything. It's just kind of matter of fact. It's a really positive thing, and I feel very privileged to be the vessel for that, and I hope it speaks to a lot of people who struggle to find a model for who they are and where they fit in.

"I grew up in such an open community—doing theater in San Francisco. I mean, it doesn’t get much, stereotypically, 'gayer.' I was inadvertently raised in the 'gay community.' I had straight parents, but I spent massive amounts of time at a very early age with gay, theater-hopeful thirty-somethings. And those were the people I spent time with early on, so my whole perception of 'sexuality' just wasn’t there. It just...was. It even got to the point where, later in life... I had all the components in place. I was, well, not super effeminate, but I was into girly things—I liked musical theater, all the stereotypical things. I had to come out and say, 'Well, I’m sorry, but I think I’m straight.' And people were like, 'Say it ain’t so!' And I would say, 'It’s been a secret too long, but I’m actually a straight male.'"

is it just me or they use Santana every time someone breaks up as their rebound/make them jealous girlfriend...it's getting old...

Thanks for the info Alvedansen, I thought he was straight but I wasn't so sure, now I can continue to crush on him!

i dont love country but i love how lea sounds in "need you now". i hear more of the thriller mash up though.

some other songs they will be singing, most of them do not have the singer confirmed yet
baby- justin beiber
somebody to love- justin beiber
another song from justin beiber that sam will sing ugh
take me or leave me- rent /rachel & mercedes :woot:

also meet me halfway by black eyed peas was supposed to be in the thriller episode. i wonder why they didnt release a preview of that

I like the idea of Rachel and Mercedes doing Take Me or Leave Me from Rent, such a great song, I just hope they don't mess it up! Also, I wonder who Mercedes is going to be singing this for, does she finally get a proper love interest? Also silly question but whatever happened to Sunshine? I thought she was suppose to play a bigger role then just one episode or something. I mean EVERYONE made such a huge deal about that casting of the role. So why haven't we seen more of her?

^she'll return for some episodes this season (don't know when exactly). i hope they'll keep her role tiny, i hated her so much (the acting was abominable and i really don't care about her at all:yuk:)

^ Sunshine (worst name ever) will probably come back around the end when they go to regionals against Vocal Adrenalin. Cheyenne Jackson (30 Rock) was billed as having a bigger role as the new coach and he was in the first ep for 5 minutes.
